Spring break is always the best time of the school year, and nobody ever wants it to end. You get the entire week to tan, have fun and let loose. There's no classes, no homework and no stress. Then, it ends, despite all the prayers that it never would. You're expected to get right back into the swing of your school workload and routine, and it seems almost impossible. Nobody explains the struggle of returning to school after spring break better than Leslie Knope does.
1. You get back from the beach and come back to the real world.
In comparison to where you just were for spring break, the real world looks like the equivalent to hell.
2. You realize you actually have to attend class again.
3. You walk into class on your first Monday back.
4. Your teacher says, "I'm sure you all spent your spring break acting like well-behaved, respectable young adults."
5. Then your teacher starts talking about your random assignment that's due next class.
6. Then she makes a comment about spring break not being an excuse for not remembering material, so you shouldn't have to "ease back into it."
7. She somehow talks for the entire class period even though she has to know you're not listening.

8. Your second class of the day is "class in your PJs" at home.![]()
9. You start missing the beach so much that you start to question how you'll survive without it until summer or next spring break.
10. You start to question why you even came back.
12. But then you realize that school actually is useful, even though you hate to admit it.
13. And then you realize you're excited to be back with your friends who weren't with you on break.
14. Maybe coming back to school isn't so bad after all.
