Winter break is beloved by many college students. We have time to recuperate from the stress that finals gave us, and start fresh with a new semester. However, this can give off a very ambivalent feeling, as the first week can be as fun as bulls-eyeing womp rats in your T-16, or as painful as being force-choked by Darth Vader.

1. Walking to class, after your nice month-long vacation:


2. Sitting near some annoying freshman:


3. Finding out that you have to pay for an access code:


4. Finding out that attendance isn't mandatory:


5. Getting a test on the first day back:


6. When the slide changes from "Syllabus' to "Lecture 1":


7. Being let out early:


8. And seeing your amazing friends, again:

Ah, yes, good old Hauppauge. We are that town in the dead center of Long Island that barely anyone knows how to pronounce unless they're from the town itself or live in a nearby area. Hauppauge is home to people of all kinds. We always have new families joining the community but honestly, the majority of the town is filled with people who never leave (high school alumni) and elders who have raised their kids here. Around the town, there are some just some landmarks and places that only the people of Hauppauge will ever understand the importance or even the annoyance of.
