Hey, guys, I've been super busy this week so I thought I'd just talk about what's been on my mind during the past few weeks instead of just one thing. My name is Adam and I plan to be writing much more on here in the future, mostly about some comics or games. I'd write about all the music stuff I'm into, but all that is usually on my Instagram with the same handle, so it would be easy to find. If you happen to wonder what shows I was at this week or how I ruin my Wednesdays, you can do that if you'd like! I like to follow a lot of my followers on there especially artists and interesting people.

So about 2 weeks ago I was invited randomly to go check out this movie in Hollywood before it even comes out. I usually drive Lyft/Uber so I wasn't really expecting to go see a movie that day. Lately, I never seem to have high expectations for movies anymore. There has just been too many disappointing films this year that weren't disasters but overall were just unimpressive. I'm not allowed to tell you guys what happens in this movie but it's based on an article on Bruce Lee. It's called Birth Of The Dragon and all I can give you besides this trailer is my thumbs up. I really hope this movie releases soon for everyone to watch and I highly recommended it. Also, the only thing I heard from my friend when I was invited was [the name] Bruce Lee, so I had no idea what I was in for and it had way more than I originally thought it would. Don't pay too much attention to those articles about Asians being pissed off about how a white guy is the main character instead of Bruce. This guy's character's inclusion is no way racist in my opinion. In fact, I think it made the story and characters very interesting (just sad how the internet can easily try to ruin something great with a dumb complaint and even sadder when sheeple who haven't even seen the film are siding with the article already). I'd even pay to watch it a second time with friends. Much better than the RZA's straight-to-Netflix sequel to The Man With The Iron Fists...well maybe because that one put me to sleep.

Have you ever just impulse bought a record because you instantly loved the artwork when you first saw it? I sometimes tend to do that with comics. I'll read a few but I love spoiling my nephew with Spiderman comics, old and new. Spiderman is his favorite thing next to Mario/Nintendo (easy nephew to spoil) so often when I pop into House Of Secrets in Burbank to grab my newest Zim issue, I'll find a cool looking issue of Spidey just for him and sometimes I find comics that I'm not exactly obsessed with but I can't help but shed a few bucks to have if the artwork is just beautiful. I'm thinking of possibly starting an article on what comics I buy my nephew and youngest cousins, who knows! They seem to like Megaman, Sonic and Ninja Turtles! Listed below are two awesome looking comics I've bought that I can't stop looking at, Carnage #9-10, and Snot Girl #1-2! Definitely my recent favorites!

I don't know if you had the same experience as me, but you may have frustrated yourself trying to play and finish Metroid 2 on the Gameboy. It was fun and I made myself beat it, but I got lost a few times, there's no maps, many places in the game look the same, I think I started over and had to seek help on youtube once. Here's what it looked like:

Not the best controls or gameplay either but I'm sure it was fun at its time. It's easier than original Metroid, I'll say that. Now look at this!

Now this game is what you want to be playing on your PC right now. If you can find it somehow, it's like playing the 2D Metroid game we've been wanting for the longest time. It's called Another Metroid 2 Remake. Think Metroid Fusion but faster, nicer, bigger and almost as nice looking as Super Metroid. I haven't gotten to the Queen again yet, but I'm pretty sure I'd rather play this right now and pay money for another 2D Metroid than Metroid Prime Federation Force.

Well, that's it for now. I got some more Metroids to take out. More from me coming soon! Don't forget to follow me and @staminamusic on Instagram!

There are plenty of obstacles that come when taking care of kids, but it's a very rewarding experience.

11 Things Summer Nannies Can Relate To

As a college student, being a nanny over the summer is both enjoyable and challenging. Underneath the seemingly perfect trips to the pool or countless hours spent playing Monopoly are the obstacles that only nannies will understand. Trading in your valuable summer vacation in return for three months spent with a few children less than half your age may seem unappealing, but so many moments make it rewarding. For my fellow summer nannies out there, I know you can relate.

If it hurts now, it'll hurt again. Not because you're gullible or naive, only because you fall fast, hard, and you do it every time.

We fall each and every time with the complete and utter confidence that someone will be there to catch us. Now that person we SWORE we were never going to fall for has our hearts, and every time we see them our palms start sweating. The butterflies in our stomach start to soar and our hearts are entirely too close to bursting out of our chests.

10 Things Only Equestrians Understand

Yes, it IS a sport. Yes, I fall all the time. No, I do not ride in jeans with a cowgirl hat on.

Growing up I have always wanted to own a horse. My grandparents own a well known equestrian facility in Georgia, so I have been riding since I was born. A bond between a person and their horse is a bond so strong that it cannot be broken. Everywhere I went I wanted to be around horses, even forcing my family to go on trail rides during vacations. Horses have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember has taught me great responsibility, as well as 14 things that all equestrians can relate to.

College is super hard. Between working, studying, and having a social life, it feels like a struggle to just keep afloat.

I understand. When you feel like your drowning and there's no way to stay afloat I understand that it feels like everyone else is doing just fine. I understand all the frustration, long nights in the library, and that feeling that you want to just throw in the towel. I understand that sometimes it's too hard to get out of bed because your brain is already filled with too much information to remember. I understand because I am also feeling pretty burnt out.

No Matter How Challenging School Gets, You Have To Put Your Health First — A Degree Won't Mean Anything If You're Dead

Some of the best advice I've ever received was from my social studies teacher in sophomore year of high school. He stated, "If you don't know it at midnight, you're not going to know it for the 8 a.m. exam, so get some sleep."

It's such a simple piece of advice, but it holds so much accuracy and it's something that the majority of college students need to hear and listen to. "All-nighters" are a commonality on college campuses in order to cram in studying for an exam that is typically the next day.
