Depending on where you live, you have certain fast food restaurants. I believe that every restaurant should be around the whole country because it simply is not fair that some of us get to enjoy the finer things in life. By finer things, I mean the three restaurants listed below that the south has.

1. Chick-fil-a

You have never had Chick-fil-a I genuinely feel bad for you. Nothing can compare to the great food and service that Chick-fil-a has to offer. It's perfect for all ages, any time of the day, any mood you're in, and has many options. The sauces are to die for.

A little "my pleasure" from an employee always brightens my day. Also if you think the line looks long, I guarantee that employees of Chik-fil-a will make it go by so quickly you won't even remember being in line.

P.S. Always dip. Dip the fries too.

2. Bojangles

I learned to love Bojangles at a very young age and I am sure glad I did. Their sweet tea is refreshing and the four-piece chicken supreme dinner with honey mustard and extra seasoning on the fries is a no-brainer for me every time I walk in there.

Bojangles is a place where if you want to eat fries for breakfast it's a judgment-free zone. They have plenty yummy, breakfast options, but I eat the same thing no matter what time I go.

Don't forget the honey mustard and sweet tea!

3. Cook Out

The opportunities are endless. Literally. A regular cookout tray costs a little over five dollars and with that comes an entree, two side items, and a drink. When I say the opportunities are endless when it comes to the tray- I am not kidding. The number of options one has to choose from are never-ending.

Their milkshakes are great. Growing up, their milkshakes would be a prized token in my household and we only got them on special occasions. I should probably implement that in my life again because I get them much too frequently. If you find an indoor cookout or live near one, consider yourself lucky.

I mean look at those milkshakes! Pro tip: dip your fries in your milkshake.

These three restaurants are a staple when you live in the south and if you think otherwise you may want to reconsider calling yourself a southerner.

As college students, we are all familiar with the horror show that is course registration week. Whether you are an incoming freshman or selecting classes for your last semester, I am certain that you can relate to how traumatic this can be.

1. When course schedules are released and you have a conflict between two required classes.

Bonus points if it is more than two.

Raising the minimum wage to a livable wage would not only benefit workers and their families, it would also have positive impacts on the economy and society. Studies have shown that by increasing the minimum wage, poverty and inequality can be reduced by enabling workers to meet their basic needs and reducing income disparities.

I come from a low-income family. A family, like many others in the United States, which has lived paycheck to paycheck. My family and other families in my community have been trying to make ends meet by living on the minimum wage. We are proof that it doesn't work.

April Ludgate

Every college student knows and understands the struggle of forcing themselves to continue to care about school. Between the piles of homework, the hours of studying and the painfully long lectures, the desire to dropout is something that is constantly weighing on each and every one of us, but the glimmer of hope at the end of the tunnel helps to keep us motivated. While we are somehow managing to stay enrolled and (semi) alert, that does not mean that our inner-demons aren't telling us otherwise, and who is better to explain inner-demons than the beloved April Ludgate herself? Because of her dark-spirit and lack of filter, April has successfully been able to describe the emotional roller-coaster that is college on at least 13 different occasions and here they are.
