Downtown Littleton is a quant little strip filled with unique shops and exciting restaurants while also being a great place to relax. There are coffee shops and breakfast places; there are stores for women and men and children. Littleton is friendly to any age and any activity. These are my must-try (because you will love them) restaurants in downtown Littleton:

1. Cafe Terracotta.

Less than a block away from Main Street, Cafe Terracotta has it all. Whether you want a spin off of eggs benedict, the perfect omelette, or one of their breakfast classics, there is surely something for everyone. While there, a latte is a must. I tend to judge places off their coffee, and Cafe Terracotta checks my list. Whether you are in the mood for breakfast, lunch, or dinner, Cafe Terracotta will have a dish that will leave you satisfied and happy.

2. SPUR Coffee Shop.

Spur has coffee that is just simple and down to earth. Nothing fancy, just perfectly brewed coffee. The baristas at Spur take their time with each cup to ensure you have exactly what you want, and what you will love. The shop is great for studying or chatting, and there is even a mural on the side of the building to take pictures with friends. Spur is a "bright and modern" area that will allow you to get work done, while also being relaxed.

3. Piccino Pizza.

You cannot go wrong on this menu. Their salads are great, their pizza is great, their pasta is great, and their desserts are GREAT. This restaurants is a wonderful go to because of variety and consistency of their menu. Their pizza can come with anything on it, and have a time puffy, but crispy crust. Their pasta is cheesy and their desserts are chocolate-y. All around great food.

4. Smokin' Fins.

Their rich menu has a variety that any person could like. They specialize in seafood, but their ribs are nothing if not perfect. They make sushi that is better than most sushi restaurants, and there are so many tasty appetizers, you may not even be hungry for dinner. The atmosphere is upbeat and active, but also is a place for big families.

These are just of my four favorite places to eat in Littleton, but there are many more to discover. Littleton is a great place, with a nice environment. Breakfast, lunch, or dinner, Littleton has it all.

It's officially December. There is less than a month of 2024, and I still feel like yesterday was summer. Now comes the merriest time of the year, the Christmas season.

Everyone has been waiting for this time of year since mid-October (which is way too early, in my opinion) or before. It's a time of love, family, memory-making, and gift-giving. A lot of times when I ask friends and family what they want, I get a lot of "I don't know" or "I don't care."

Find excitement in your life and start exploring wherever you are right here, right now.

mu bucket list

I was sitting at my cubicle, now that I am an adult, looking at the rain pouring down on the windowsill, bumming on life, wishing for the rain to just stop for a full day.

There are moments where we count down the hours until work is over and how many more days till the weekend, and this many weeks until something exciting. Or something like that? Well, I was bumming because my next day off from work is not until Memorial Day weekend, which is not until the end of May. And since this is my first year out of college being a “real person,” I am totally missing the winter, spring and summer breaks. I am sure all of us have felt this way even if just for a hot minute…

If you go to or went to Kent State, then more than likely you have done or will do some of these things.

1. You’ve slipped and fallen on the ice at least once.
