Most New Year's resolutions can seem daunting. Usually, people give them up before the month of January is even over. This year, let's kick the usual "lose weight" resolutions to the curb, and adopt some of these that actually don't suck.
1. Drink more water
2. Get more sleep
3. Get rid of excess stuff
4. Make your bed daily
A clean environment helps focus, organization & overall mood
5. Take up yoga
6. Start a gratitude journal
You'll be surprised how much this can change your attitude, and ultimately, your year.
7. Be more present
Put down your phone, and simply be where you are with who you're with. Instagram and Twitter will still be there when you get home.
8. Read more
Trade screens for books. Just do it.
9. Exercise more
For the way it makes you feel and nothing more.
