This week, researchers observed a strong correlation between the rapid advancement of global warming and the November 8th election results. Within hours following the election of Donald Trump, the rate at which polar ice caps were melting spiked by 300%. As well, temperatures are expected to have risen by 50 degrees fahrenheit by inauguration on January 20th.
Biologists also noted rapid bird migration from the continental U.S. beginning after November 8th. While many species do migrate south for the winter, it appears that birds have reached new lengths to flee the United States with some species reaching their destinations three times faster than usual after news of Mr. Trump's election as President.
While scientists still aren't sure exactly how this trend is occurring, they do suggest reasons why it's happening. "We have reached the conclusion that the Earth is punishing us for the events that unfolded on November 8th of this year and that by rapidly deteriorating, the Earth is taking itself out of its misery," said head scientist, Warren Roberts.
There is also recent evidence to suggest that fault lines are being formed along the east coast of the United States beneath Washington D.C. "While much of the nation and the rest of the world expects the federal government to come crumbling down within the next four years, seismic estimates show that the Mother Nature will likely take care of that for us soon," said seismic analyst John Norris.
Despite the astonishing speed at which the Earth has started warming following November 8th, political scientists are confident that Mr. Trump will still deny climate change. Moreover, analysts expect the President-Elect to likely place blame for the rapid deterioration of the Earth on immigrants or other alienated groups of people living in the United States.
Although this new research may appear gloomy, one can be comforted by the fact that the next four years were going to be gloomy anyway.
