Home Improvement Trends 2020

In 2020, most homeowners will make sure that their homes feel warm and welcoming. So what will be the main material that will dominate your house? For that matter, what will be the colors of your home? And what will happen to the kitchen?

(note- if you live in Houston, Texas, then you may already know that when it comes to Home Remodeling Houston, it's going to get crazy. Because more often than not people, who live in that area, tend to remodel their homes to keep up with the trends. )

Well, let's talk about these things in detail.

Materials in your House

In 2020, homeowner will be prone to dark wood, vegetable fiber, leather and metal. Over the years, dark wood has replaced light wood and thus giving the home a new appearance and a touch of elegance. Having at least one piece of furniture(made of dark wood) in every room is something you will have to do.

Interior Color Trends

Color trends tend to be different in every year.. In 2020, we will have even more variety. Colors like purple and pink will be complemented grey and blue which tend to be more somber compare to cheerful colors like pink and purple.

The colors are mainly woven into textiles, while the lighter version of these colors are more suited to walls.

Pink will never be out of fashion. Even in the years to come, the different versions of pink will dominate the market.

Kitchen Design

In 2020, you won't see the usual stuff that people have been seeing over the years. We will have surfaces such as concrete, ceramics, marble, and hardened glass. The choice is not always based on style or fashion. Budget also plays a big role here. Some of the materials shave become quite expensive these days.

Some of you may become quite surprised by some of these treads. You may think- "Doesn't concrete belong in the cellar?" You may also ask yourself-" doesn't ceramic belong in the bathroom?" The answer is- yes, they did. But things don't remain the same. They always change.

Kitchen Color Trends

Kitchen colors have to complement the general color scheme of the house you live in. So what are the colors that will dominate the kitchen in 2020. Well, black, chestnut brown and darker shades of grey will have something to say in 2020.

So these are some of the remodeling trends that will dominate in 2020. So if you ever think about remodeling your house, or your kitchen, then it won't be a bad idea to keep these things in mind.

The Great Christmas Movie Debate

The Great Christmas Movie Debate
Mental Floss

One staple of the Christmas season is sitting around the television watching a Christmas movie with family and friends. But of the seemingly hundreds of movies, which one is the star on the tree? Some share stories of Santa to children ("Santa Claus Is Coming to Town"), others want to spread the Christmas joy to adults ("It's a Wonderful Life"), and a select few are made to get laughs ("Elf"). All good movies, but merely ornaments on the Christmas tree of the best movies. What tops the tree is a movie that bridges the gap between these three movies, and makes it a great watch for anyone who chooses to watch it. Enter the timeless Christmas classic, "A Christmas Story." Created in 1983, this movie holds the tradition of capturing both young and old eyes for 24 straight hours on its Christmas Day marathon. It gets the most coverage out of all holiday movies, but the sheer amount of times it's on television does not make it the greatest. Why is it,
then? A Christmas Story does not try to tell the tale of a Christmas miracle or use Christmas magic to move the story. What it does do though is tell the real story of Christmas. It is relatable and brings out the unmatched excitement of children on Christmas in everyone who watches. Every one becomes a child again when they watch "A Christmas Story."
