Just a few tips and reminders to help you out.
1. Relax.
Stop tensing your shoulders. Relax your face. Breathe deep, and let your body unwind. Much better.
2. Drink more water.
Women need 95 ounces of fluid every day, and men are around 130. Reaching this daily goal will give you more energy, improve your metabolism, and have plenty of benefits towards your overall health.
3. Practice kindness.
It costs nothing and only improves everyone's happiness if you practice kindness everywhere you go. If you put positive energy into the world, it's sure to come back to you. Besides, you never know what others are going through.
4. Sit up straight.
Work on those abs of steel and your posture at the same time. You'll be perceived with more respect if you stop hunching over.
5. Get the right amount of sleep.
From improving your focus to helping you live longer, the proven benefits of getting a good night's rest are undisputed. I know that your essay is due soon, and you want to party it up while you're in college, but self-care has to come first every once in awhile. Take care of your long-term health by getting some shut-eye.
6. Be grateful.
No matter who you are, there is someone else who helped you get where you are today. Whether it be a parent, a significant other, a best friend, a teacher, or anyone else, this person deserves to be recognized. If you voice your appreciation, you'll make their day a bit brighter.
7. "IS THAT THING DUE TODAY?"
Check. Double-check. Then check again.
8. Make small, healthy choices.
Trade out that soda for water at dinner tonight, and take the stairs today. Continue treating your mind and body to small healthy habits, and you'll be surprised how good you'll feel in a month.
9. Confidence, confidence, confidence!
Have you ever heard of "Treat people the way you want to be treated"? Well, it's just as true that others will only respect you as much as you respect yourself. Walk, talk, and do everything with confidence, and no one will question you again.
Back to your regularly scheduled life.
