Sometimes life does not go as planned. In just one second our lives can be turned upside down and we can go from great to horrible. When this happens, you start searching for the one glimmer of hope that will put some light at the end of the dark tunnel. Sometimes things are fine, but you just need a pick me up after a long week. Whatever is going on right now, hopefully you are able to find something you need to hear.

I want you to remember that no matter what is going on in your life right now, you are amazing. You are a beautiful person and no one will ever be able to change you. You have so much to offer the world and the people around you. No matter what is going on, it will work out. Things do get better even when you do not think they will. Just remember everything happens for a reason, and you are strong enough to find out why.

You are strong enough to get through anything. Just remember, you will never have to go through anything you cannot handle. Even though it may seem as though your world is falling apart you will make it though. You will come out better and stronger than ever because of who you are and what you are dealing with. Everything that is going on right now is something you can learn from and will help you grow as a person. You will come out better and stronger, just wait and see.

Do not forget about the confidence you have worked so hard to build. The confidence you have is beautiful. Never let anything tear down the confidence you have. When things in life are hard, it can slowly start to tear down the confidence you have worked for. During this time, take some extra time to find things about you that help you feel confident about who you are.

Never lose sight of your goals, your dreams, or your ambitions. Life is too short to let big or small things get you down. Let the things that are important drive you. You are strong and confident enough to let what you want in life drive you and help get you through anything and everything.

Do not take the smile off your face for one second. Your smile is the strongest and most beautiful thing you have. Do not ever let something get you down to the point where you hide your smile. The world needs people to smile, especially people who are going through hard times. Your smile can give the world hope and love, something it needs, especially now.

You are one in a million and you are unique. You are a person worth knowing and worth loving. No matter what is happening do not forget who you are or what you are becoming. Some things are harder than others but you can make it through anything. You are beautiful inside and out, do not ever forget that!

In honor of Mother’s Day, I have been thinking of all the things my mom does for my family and me. Although I couldn’t write nearly all of them, here are a few things that moms do for us.

They find that shirt that’s right in front of you, but just you can’t seem to find.

10 Reasons To Thank Your Best Friend

Take the time to thank that one friend in your life you will never let go of.

Thank You on wooden blocks

1. Thank you for being the one I can always count on to be honest.

A true friend will tell you if the shirt is ugly, or at least ask to borrow it and "accidentally" burn it.

2. Thank you for accepting me for who I am.

A best friend will love you regardless of the stale french fries you left on the floor of your car, or when you had lice in 8th grade and no one wanted to talk to you.

Do as I say, not as I do.

Your eyes widen in horror as you stare at your phone. Beads of sweat begin to saturate your palm as your fingers tremble in fear. The illuminated screen reads, "Missed Call: Mom."

Growing up with strict parents, you learn that a few things go unsaid. Manners are everything. Never talk back. Do as you're told without question. Most importantly, you develop a system and catch on to these quirks that strict parents have so that you can play their game and do what you want.

"Friends" maybe didn’t have everything right or realistic all the time, but they did have enough episodes to create countless reaction GIFs and enough awesomeness to create, well, the legacy they did. Something else that is timeless, a little rough, but memorable? Living away from the comforts of home. Whether you have an apartment, a dorm, your first house, or some sort of residence that is not the house you grew up in, I’m sure you can relate to most of these!
