America has one more full month to enjoy President Obama’s reign before Donald Trump gets sworn in to take oath in January 2017.

As the world begins to say their final goodbyes, the time has come to realize what significant moments Obama did have. His presidency will always be remembered, being that he served as America's first African American president to ever take office.

When Obama first campaigned, he won in 2008 as he ran against Sen. John McCain and Gov. Sarah Palin. Around this time, it was very interesting because the Republican party were set in how George W. Bush had previously ran things in the White House and too, change was not a factor. But for Democrat citizens, they wanted something different.

Before Obama’s presidency, during Bush’s term, he sent U.S. troops to Iraq because of the September 2001attacks in New York. On this day, the world grew to know that bombs and airplanes had crashed into buildings near ground zero. It was a time where the whole world united in love. It will always remain an unforgettable experience. Troops went to war due to Saddam Hussein's explosive destruction and connection to terrorism. Many around the world were furious because of the decision Bush made.

When Obama first campaigned, he noticed the enormous issues that had taken over the country, so he called it “Change We Can Believe In.” Being that he was elected and won from Illinois, he was the first to recognize and understand the need of helping others. He tried to hold campaign rallies all over the U.S., not to win votes but to show people that he is in the race to make peace with those who may not understand race and equality but to make sure that the country as a whole will be able to live together despite things around them.

As an end result, in Obama’s presidency, there have been some triumphs the nation has experienced. Osama bin Laden, the founder of al-Qaeda that was claimed to be the reason behind the September 11 attacks was captured and died in May 2011. Another leader, would be Libya’s former Prime Minister Muammar Gaddafi, who was captured hiding in draining pipes and was brutally killed by rebels in October 2011.

Now in Obama’s second term, he pursued some of the changes that America needed to further “Forward” plans for the nation. In that, jobs were made, Americans were able to see gas prices fluctuate through the months and years, and lastly provide health care to those that could not afford it. Obama has done an excellent job representing everyone as a whole. If anyone were able to view him, they would learn that because he is president, does not mean every idea he proposed was accepted or vise versa were approved.

Obama has been a man of courage, and the nation realized that when he helped make equality more real for those to marry within the same sex. He understood and respected others rights, as same sex marriage was a big deal across the nation.

As the world prepares for the next president to take office, Obama has fully accepted President-elect Donald Trump in hope, to care for this country as much as he does.

I think the hardest thing about going away to college is figuring out how to become an adult. Leaving a household where your parents took care of literally everything (thanks, Mom!) and suddenly becoming your own boss is overwhelming. I feel like I'm doing a pretty good job of being a grown-up, but once in awhile I do something that really makes me feel like I'm #adulting. Twenty-somethings know what I'm talking about.

I went to a small high school, like 120-people-in-my-graduating-class small. It definitely had some good and some bad, and if you also went to a small high school, I’m sure you’ll relate to the things that I went through.

1. If something happens, everyone knows about it

Who hooked up with whom at the party? Yeah, heard about that an hour after it happened. You failed a test? Sorry, saw on Twitter last period. Facebook fight or, God forbid, real fight? It was on half the class’ Snapchat story half an hour ago. No matter what you do, someone will know about it.

Chandler Bing

I'm assuming that we've all heard of the hit 90's TV series, Friends, right? Who hasn't? Admittedly, I had pretty low expectations when I first started binge watching the show on Netflix, but I quickly became addicted.

Without a doubt, Chandler Bing is the most relatable character, and there isn't an episode where I don't find myself thinking, Yup, Iam definitely the Chandler of my friend group.

Working with the public can be a job, in and of itself. Some people are just plain rude for no reason. But regardless of how your day is going, always having to be in the best of moods, or at least act like it... right?

1. When a customer wants to return a product, hands you the receipt, where is printed "ALL SALES ARE FINAL" in all caps.

2. Just because you might be having a bad day, and you're in a crappy mood, doesn't make it okay for you to yell at me or be rude to me. I'm a person with feelings, just like you.

3. People refusing to be put on hold when a customer is standing right in front of you. Oh, how I wish I could just hang up on you!
