Remembering Aaron Hotchner

Dear Hotch, wait, I was told the BAU Team has quite a bit of advice for you.

Thomas Gibson ended his time at the BAU on a bad note, but that doesnt override the fact that he successfully lead the team, crime after crime for many years. Since his firing happened behind closed doors and we only got the outside scoop of the drama, we never got to fully participate in the Hotch´s true farewell. Therefore, we can only predict what advice each cast member´s gave him before the end came...

1. Jennifer (Jay Jay) Jareau

Girl power on heels! JJ has an unspeakable strength and has been on and off the show because of her pregnancies. Due to her previous experience with "leaving", she may have pretty good advice on how to persuade producers to let you come back? (Just putting it out there Hotch)

2. Penelope Garcia

The moment you read the below picture you´ll probably think "What does that even mean?" Well, to be perfectly honest with you, that is a question I ask myself every Wednesday night when Penelope speaks for more than thirty seconds ;)

3. Dr. Spencer Reid

The intelligence this kid has is not only for the shows, he has proven to us countless times that his predictions and analyses have formidable results. However, in this particular, his brutal honesty makes for a great take home lesson.

4. David Rossi

Oh the old one, oh the wise one. If there is anyone in the BAU who knows more about it than Hotch does and is braver than he is, it's this dude over here. If I were Hotch, I'd put extra attention into these words...

5. Emily Prentiss

The wisest words this agent said were at the end of an episode when she quoted William Glasser. Listen up Hotch!

6. Luke Alvez

Three episodes isn't enough for this gem to make quote worthy comments, so I had to dig into his other life as a CSI: Miami agent to find something meaningful....

7. Derek Morgan

To all those viewers that have already moved on from this hottie´s dramatic exit, you will have to excuse me: I am still in the process of letting go of this one.

Last but not least, it's the turn of us loyal Criminal Minds followers to speak. Our hearts were broken the day we found out you were leaving, but needless to say: Thank you. Thank you Hotch for taking us in such amazing adventures, and for helping us understand that family isn't only in the blood, but also in loyalty and friendship. Thank you for being Hotch.

As college students, we are all familiar with the horror show that is course registration week. Whether you are an incoming freshman or selecting classes for your last semester, I am certain that you can relate to how traumatic this can be.

1. When course schedules are released and you have a conflict between two required classes.

Bonus points if it is more than two.

Raising the minimum wage to a livable wage would not only benefit workers and their families, it would also have positive impacts on the economy and society. Studies have shown that by increasing the minimum wage, poverty and inequality can be reduced by enabling workers to meet their basic needs and reducing income disparities.

I come from a low-income family. A family, like many others in the United States, which has lived paycheck to paycheck. My family and other families in my community have been trying to make ends meet by living on the minimum wage. We are proof that it doesn't work.

As an English Major in college, I have a lot of writing and especially creative writing pieces that I work on throughout the semester and sometimes, I'll find it hard to get the motivation to type a few pages and the thought process that goes behind it. These are eleven thoughts that I have as a writer while writing my stories.

April Ludgate

Every college student knows and understands the struggle of forcing themselves to continue to care about school. Between the piles of homework, the hours of studying and the painfully long lectures, the desire to dropout is something that is constantly weighing on each and every one of us, but the glimmer of hope at the end of the tunnel helps to keep us motivated. While we are somehow managing to stay enrolled and (semi) alert, that does not mean that our inner-demons aren't telling us otherwise, and who is better to explain inner-demons than the beloved April Ludgate herself? Because of her dark-spirit and lack of filter, April has successfully been able to describe the emotional roller-coaster that is college on at least 13 different occasions and here they are.
