The thing about love is that it isn't always romantic. Valentine's Day is one of my favorite holidays. It's a really great excuse to eat lots of chocolate (which anyone who knows me knows is my weakness). However, while I really am a sucker for a good romantic comedy, I'm beginning to realize that real life love comes in many forms.
We spend our time wondering if our soulmate is out there. The one person who understands us better than anyone else. It's easy to imagine that one person can complete us. However, I truly believe that every person that enters and exits our lives has that kind of power. Every family member, friends, or person we meet on the street has shaped the way in which we view the world. Everyone has the power to inspire us in some way, to help us discover a passion or to find some quality in us that we didn't see in ourselves.
We are all human beings and we all have flaws and struggles and dreams and passions. Love is being there for someone in need. Love is a random conversation with a person you never expected could relate to you. So I guess this is just a reminder to be the love you want to see in the world because love isn't just a feeling between two individuals. It's a force that binds us all together and it's powerful.
