Remember This: You are Loved

There is no greater power than that of love.

Remember This: You are Loved

A lot has happened in this world.

However, regardless of any situation, remember this: you are loved.

No matter what, you are loved. There is one great force in this world and He loves you. Especially now, it is important to turn to faith and love. The only thing greater than hate is love. Love wins. It truly does. Haven't you heard of the phrase "kill with kindness"? It is a great motto, not to literally kill, but to show so much love and caring that others have no option but to think amazing thoughts.

Our greatest power that we have as humans is to love. Love your neighbor; they are not defined by anything other than the fact that they are a neighbor. Love the people in your life. Love the people who are not in your life.

The answer is love. Help me to share the world with love. Let us all have the same amount of love that a dog does. When in doubt, try to put yourself in someone else's shoes. It helps with perspective. Hate has gone too far and it will not win.

I believe that our generation of millennials has so much voice and acceptance. Sometimes it wavers, but as a whole, I think that we are only growing to be a more accepting people. We can all always work to be more accepting and will fight for the rights of all. We are all made in God's image and all deserve to be loved no matter what.

It's the only answer.

If you feel scared or worried, I'm with you. Together, with the power of love, maybe we can erase the love and not stand for the hate. Know that I'm sending you love, and all you share this too.

Let's spread the love and start the war on hate.

New year, new semester, not the same old thing. This semester will be a semester to redeem all the mistakes made in the previous five months.

1. I will wake up (sorta) on time for class.

Let's face it, last semester you woke up with enough time to brush your teeth and get to class and even then you were about 10 minutes late and rollin' in with some pretty unfortunate bed head. This semester we will set our alarms, wake up with time to get ready, and get to class on time!

And so it begins.

1. Walk in motivated and ready to rock

Camping out at the library is not for the faint of heart. You need to go in as a warrior. You usually have brought supplies (laptop, chargers, and textbooks) and sustenance (water, snacks, and blanket/sweatpants) since the battle will be for an undetermined length of time. Perhaps it is one assignment or perhaps it's four. You are motivated and prepared; you don’t doubt the assignment(s) will take time, but you know it couldn’t be that long.
