No, I am not anti-religion at all.

I actually am religious and well, except all religions in their unique ways. What I still cannot wrap my head around though are some of the things taught in the Bible. Yes, the Holy Bible. It is extremely revolved around a male-dominated society and puts down women and anyone who is not a "white male."

So many religions in history have been designed to scare people, give a certain group of people authority and power, to keep a social structure and rule.

This is evident throughout history, no matter which religion you look at.

So what makes people think the Bible is any better?

The Bible was written in 6th century B.C, a time where people were seeking for power and structure. I cannot help but think that the Bible was created by a bunch of white males that wanted power. Every single story shines a light on the main star of the show, white males.

The Bible makes it seem like white males are God-like. For starters, the Bible encourages slavery and portrays women as second citizens.

I'm sorry but there is a direct verse from the bible encouraging white males to own slaves: "When a slave owner strikes a male or female slave with a rod and the slave dies immediately, the owner shall be punished. But if the slave survives a day or two, there is no punishment; for the slave is the owner's property." (Exodus 21:20-21)

Not only this but the Bible says that if a woman teaches they should be stoned to death, and "I do not permit a woman to teach or to exercise authority over a man; rather, she is to remain quiet." (Timothy 2:12)

This is an obvious example of bullying and unnecessary putting down a human of equal being to gain power for the white male.

Not only this but the very view of women in the Bible revolves around Eve and her only symbol as "temptation." The only other view of women is submissive, quiet, weak and not God-like at all. They specifically teach women that they need the love of a male to be "cured" and to become closer to God.

Of course, the males that wrote the Bible had to add that the women in order to be "pure" for the man she had to be a virgin.

Even the creation of humans revolves around the same patriarchal ideals.

The very fact that the Bible says that God created the male first from dust as a "copy of himself," and the women were created from Adams' rib, feeble, modeled and shaped perfectly for the only purpose to be the male's companion and pleasure.

If this doesn't sound like straight from a males dream to gain power and to have a beautiful woman to follow him around, I don't know how you can get much more obvious than this.

Scientifically, women actually have an extra rib because they actually create the life on this Earth and need wider hips and body structure to have birth. Not only this but having these wider hips and this type of structure means a larger brain and smarter women.

So while we have heard through history these undermining assaults that women are less than men are actually being proven today that women tend to be biologically smarter, more perceptive, more social and creative, an essential part of humanity.

In our faulty human history, white males tried to use the great questions of the world and the spirit of life to create these stories and teaching to selfishly gain power for themselves.

In their act to do so, they trampled many human beings. The formation of white male supremacy was constructed due to these old stories, creating not more order but more chaos, war, violence and a living hell on Earth rather than peace.

Today, women have been struggling for centuries to gain back the respect and power they truly deserve, non-white humans constantly battle stereotypes of poor suppression due to slavery and discrimination and war, anger, and cautious is still in order. Not even to mention the hatred created toward homosexuals and anyone that is not seen as the typical human painted thousands of years ago.

Still today we are fighting and trying to recover from these stereotypes and structure of hate that was formed just for the gain of power in the beginning of humanity. Humans have always been ruled by the more animalistic, power hungry, and aggressive based risk-reward bain processed sex. Humanities essential true meanings to a more valuable life are more perceived with females and female leaders would create a much more peaceful world.

When is the world going to wake up and realize humans are evolving creatures and these traditions from decades ago only create a setback for humanity?

We all have the capacity in our brains, our hearts, and our pure humanity selves to not be so full of hatred. We were not created to be like this. I feel in myself that every stereotype places on a woman in the bible is the complete opposite of myself.

If my human mind is able to think outside of the book and come to the realization that this is not true then how could this possibly be how I was created? It has come to a time period in human history that we are scientifically advanced, technologically advanced, and now have this large capacity for possible peace, equality and an open understanding of the beauty of this complex unique world.

I believe that humanity's true form is to not act like wild animals but to be smarter and more advancing then animalistic behaviors.

We have the capacity in our minds and our soals to not continue with our ignorant mistakes of the past and now construct a new, true purpose for humanity. This vast world could have a spirit entity and energies involved in the complexity of the human mind.

The universe is a vast space for possibilities, progression to understanding, and a greater portrait of what life, love and the meaning of creation truly are all about.

Science, spirit, and love and compassion for all of humanity are the only answers for truly understanding our lives at hand, not returning to ignorance hate, stereotyping and power hungry animalistic structure.

This is for the girls who have dealt with an emotionally, mentally, physically or verbally abusive father.

The ones who have grown up with a false lens of what love is and how relationships should be. The ones who have cried themselves to sleep wondering why he hurts you and your family so much. This is for all the girls who fall in love with broken boys that carry baggage bigger than their own, thinking it's their job to heal them because you watched your mother do the same.

Blair Waldorf Quote
"DESTINY IS FOR LOSERS. IT'S JUST A STUPID EXCUSE TO WAIT FOR THINGS TO HAPPEN INSTEAD OF MAKING THEM HAPPEN." - BLAIR WALDORF.

The world stopped in 2012 when our beloved show "Gossip Girl" ended. For six straight years, we would all tune in every Monday at 9:00 p.m. to see Upper Eastside royalty in the form of a Burberry headband clad Blair Waldorf. Blair was the big sister that we all loved to hate. How could we ever forget the epic showdowns between her and her frenemy Serena Van Der Woodsen? Or the time she banished Georgina Sparks to a Christian summer camp? How about that time when she and her girls took down Bart Bass? Blair is life. She's taught us how to dress, how to be ambitious, and most importantly, how to throw the perfect shade.

Recently I completed my freshman year of college, and boy, what an experience. It was a completely new learning environment and I can't believe how much I learned. In an effort to save time, here are the ten biggest lessons I learned from my first year of college.

1. Everyone is in the same boat

For me, the scariest part of starting school was that I was alone, that I wouldn't be able to make any friends and that I would stick out. Despite being told time and time again that everyone had these same feelings, it didn't really click until the first day when I saw all the other freshman looking as uneasy and uncomfortable as me. Therefore, I cannot stress this enough, everyone is feeling as nervous as you.
