In the music industry, albums are always released on Friday. Since I was in high school, I've always tried to find a few releases every week to check out over the weekend. And how conventional it is that Spotify now has a weekly playlist made of that week's releases! Every once in a while, I'll post here about the new albums from the Friday before collection of releases that I think you should check out. Here's volume 1:
1) Expire- With Regret
Expire has announced that the end is coming, but not without a slew of tours and a final album. Friday the band released their last, With regret. If you've ever been a fan of Expire, you'll enjoy this too. What a great way to go out.
2) Stick To Your Guns- Better Ash than Dust
This EP is following the band's last full-length, Disobedient, and comes in regular STYG fashion. Better Ash Than Dust feels like life's soundtrack with all of the things happening in the news lately, and I love it. Spend your weekend checking this out.
3) Every Time I Die
Every Time I Die have been around as a band since before this year's high school seniors were born and they STILL rock harder than any band they listen to. How does this band keep producing banger after banger?
4) Downswing- Contain
Downswing is a brand new hardcore band from Albany, NY. This is the band's first release and features vocals from Issac Hale of Knocked Loose. The bands first song can be heard via their Facebook and premiered exclusively through Chugcore.
