You can't spell Christmas without stress. (Okay, yes you can, but you know what I mean)

Digital Trends

It's hard to relax during the holidays, but make sure you take some time for yourself during all the shopping and gift wrapping and baking holiday goodies. Here's a list of some of my favorite things to do:

1. Read!
My personal favorite is Looking for Alaska by John Green

2. Listen to Music
Currently obsessed with the Hamilton soundtrack

3. Take a drive
Go see some Christmas lights!

4. Hang with friends
I've missed my friends from home, and I currently miss my friends from school. If you need a break from all of the stress that comes with the holidays, arrange to meet up with friends!

5. Binge watch some TV shows
Currently on season 3 of TWD

6. Shamelessly enjoy a cheesy Christmas movie
Cheesy Christmas movies make my heart happy and I will shamelessly enjoy them this time of year.

7. Take a bath
Totally basic but bath bombs are THE bomb

8. Color
Or draw if you're artistic. I'm not, so I'd rather color pretty things that other people draw!

Above all, just remember to take care of yourself!

It is the time of our lives that we are beginning to enter the adult world and most of us, if not all of us, have no idea what we are doing. Now that graduation has just happened, or is right around the corner for some of us, it's time to start thinking about how we are going to take care of ourselves once we are on our own.

College involves a whirlwind of emotions, whether it’s from the stress of an assignment (or twenty), or from fighting with your roommate. It can be overwhelming at times and it’s important to take a step a back and calmly think things over. Maybe gain some perspective. The following aren’t foolproof tips and may not apply to you, but I was able to find success with them (hope you do too!)

It is no secret that many American traditions have changed over time. As we grow older we change in so many ways that it only makes sense that we also change the way we celebrate special occasions. Of course when it comes to the holidays there are some family traditions that many of us still excitedly look forward to, whether it is eating your favorite dish or seeing favorite cousin. However, we all know that the holidays have overall changed a little from what they used to be.
