Because dogs are family, too.

My Relationship With My Dog As Told By Modern Family

Dogs are man's best friend. The relationship between you and your dog is like no other relationship. Your dog is always there when humans aren't. Their love is unconditional, and we are not worthy. There are occurrences that every dog owner understands, and the members of "Modern Family" help explain them.

1. When my dog picks to sit with me over other family members.

It's obvious you love me the most. You the real MVP.

2. I always share a little bit of my food with my dog.

It's too hard to say no to those big eyes.

3. Whenever I have to leave home.

This hurts me more than it hurts you. I have to have social interactions, and you get to stay home and sleep.

4. Whenever I return home.

The excitement is mutual.

5. Every time I have to give my dog a bath.

I know you hate it, but it's what you get for rolling in God knows what.

6. Any time my dog hears the word "walk."

Personally, I don't get why walking in a straight line is so exciting, but your happiness is definitely infectious.

7. When my friends say I'm obsessed with my dog.

They're not wrong. So what if more than half of the photos on my phone are of my dog? I don't see a problem here.

8. Fighting for more room on the bed.

Because apparently my dog is the alpha of the house and has the entitlement needed to take my half of the bed.

9. Cuddling my dog after a long day.

Nothing makes me feel better than experiencing my dog's excitement from seeing me at the end of the day.

10. Whenever I come home smelling like my friend's dog.

I promise you will always be my number one, but I can't help the fact that all dogs are naturally drawn to me.

Everyone who is in college right now, or has ever been, knows the struggle of pulling in the strings at the last second. It seems impossible, and you have to do a LOT of things in order to assure your future for the next semester.

April Ludgate, historically, is a very annoyed person, and she doesn't hide it. Of all the times that I binged and re-binged "Parks and Rec," her attitude relates more and more to me.

To The Cheerful Person On Their Rainy Days, You Are Valid

The world is not always sunshine and rainbows, and you do not have to be, either.

Ask friends of mine to name a quality about me, and one a lot them will point out the fact that I am almost always smiling. I like to laugh and smile -- not to quote Buddy the Elf in April, but smiling is my favorite! It is probably my favorite go-to expression. However, what a lot of people do not see is that I have my down days. I have days when smiling and laughing is a real struggle, or when I have so much on my plate that going out of my way to behappy takes more effort than I have stored in me. Be it a symptom of college and growing up or a facet of life, I cannot always be content.
