Jessica Day from New Girl easily has to be one of the most off-the-wall, entertaining, and relatable TV characters. After binge-watching the entire show, there were so many moments in which Jess' crazy sayings were actually so true. Check out 12 times that Jess said the most spot-on things.

When someone asks where you want to go eat.

You when it's that time of the month.

Also you when it's that time of the month...

When a guy finally gets to know you.

When you've had a really long day.

When you see someone eyeing you at the bar.

When you actually dress up and wear heels for once in your life.

When you introduce yourself to a group of people for the first time.

When you get home at the end of the day and can finally be yourself.

When all the other girls dress cute for Halloween, and then there's you.

Anytime you get on Facebook and see a montage of dog pictures.

When you aren't ashamed of how much you love food.

Jessica Day is truly an iconic character. I think we could all benefit from being as straight-up and pure as Jess.

It is a great stress reliever for me to just sit in my living room and work on the huge amount of work I have before the semester is over.

Mistakes are something we all make, no matter how old we get. Most of the time, the mistakes we made are little and sometimes due to something out of our control. Yet, there are mistakes that are bigger than others. Personally, I have mistakes that I wish I could go back and undo. Here they are:

Writing a paper is never fun and is rarely rewarding. The writer's block, the page requirement, be specific, but don’t summarize, make sure you fixed any grammatical errors, did you even use spellcheck? and analyze, analyze, analyze.

Papers can be a major pain. They take up so much time and effort that by the end of the process you hate yourself and you hate the professor for making life so difficult. Questions of your existence start roaming in your mind. Am I even cut out for college if I can’t write a single paper? Am I even capable of taking care of myself if I lack the energy to open my laptop and start typing?
