Finals week is here and let's face it, none of us are ready. We've gone through 16 weeks of lecture, quizzes, discussion boards, and presentations and still have little to no retention of anything that went on in the class. In a way, college is sort of like SpongeBob being in boating school - always trying with little to no success. With that being said, let me show you how we're all SpongeBob Squarepants during finals week.
1. When you have to clear your mind of everything else so you can relearn a whole semester worth of classes in one week.
2. When you're sitting at your desk mentally preparing yourself for the week of torture that's about to ensue.
3. When you finally decide to start studying.
4. When you finally start those papers that you've had all semester to do.
5. When your computer decides it needs to do updates in the middle of said papers.
6. When your immune system decides to team up with the stress and betray you.
7. When you don't have time to do laundry but that's okay because you know you're going to your parent's house soon.
8. When you're laying in the bed on Finals Week Eve.
9. When you see people show up to the final who haven't been in class since the first day of the semester.
10. When a classmate calls the professor over because they have a question.
11. When the professor calls "pencils down".
12. The walk of shame that comes with turning in your finals.
13. When you're leaving your last final.
