As my first year of college concluded, I did a lot of reflecting and redirecting in my life. The year sped by so fast and I transformed immensely. My entire perspective on life morphed as well. Though it is important to stay focused and interested in the future, the present also has great value. It is the only time which we are guaranteed. The truth is, there is so much undiscovered territory in our lives which should be the roots of the desire to learn. This video was one I made at the start of summer on my home campus. Ah, yes, good old Hauppauge. We are that town in the dead center of Long Island that barely anyone knows how to pronounce unless they're from the town itself or live in a nearby area. We always have new families joining the community but honestly, the majority of the town is filled with people who never leave (high school alumni) and elders who have raised their kids here.
