I just arrived home from a three week trip in London.

I took a class at the London School of Economics called “Global Communications, Citizens, and Cultural Politics,” and I loved every minute of it. I learned from such accomplished professors and writers who taught lessons on political campaigns, media and media cities, horror movies, personal communication devices, and so much more. When I wasn’t in class or studying, I had a lot of fun exploring London. I took several morning and afternoon walks by myself so I could see as much of London as possible.

Here are the 57 best restaurants and places I visited in London, and what I’m already planning to do the next time I go:

Breakfast

1. 26 Grains: any of their porridges.

2. Hubbard and Bell: porridge (add strawberries on top), avocado toast, breakfast smoothie.

3. Lundenwic: the avocado toast with an egg on top is wonderful.

4. Le Pain Quotidien: almond croissant, porridge (add strawberries on top), iced latte.

5. The Holborn Grind: almond croissant, iced latte, great juices.

6. Cereal Killer: only serve cereal, located in Shoreditch, fun and unique environment.

Lunch and Dinner

7. The Ivy: the polenta dish is so good, chocolate bomb dessert.

8. Homeslice Pizza: the best pizza I’ve had in a long time.

9. Wild Food Cafe: tomato confetti courgetti spaghetti, ayurvedic super salad, forgotten ecstasy smoothie, banana bread, chocolate tart (can you tell I went here a lot?).

10. Jamie Oliver’s: great pizza, even better broccoli surprisingly.

11. Masala Zone: very, very good Indian food.

12. Camden Market: great food and shopping, fun environment.

13. Borough Market: anything and everything, great pasta and gelato.

14. Tate Modern Restaurant: beautiful view at sunset, soufflé and chicken were wonderful.

15. Native: interesting menu, the best cauliflower I've ever had, scallops and duck were great too.

16. Harrod's: so many different options to choose from, but I really enjoyed getting dim sum and Ladurée.

17. Bill’s: very good salmon dish, I had it three times.

Dessert

18. Udderlicious: great gelato.

19. Scoop: more great gelato.

20. Amorino: even better gelato because they shape it like a rose.

21. Ladurée: couldn't go to Europe without picking up some macarons of course.

22. Gelateria 3Bis: they fill the cone or cup with chocolate before putting the ice cream inside, best gelato I had in London.

Teas and Drinks

23. The Dorchester: vanilla tea with classic scones, finger sandwiches, and pastries

24. Fortnum & Mason: classic selection of scones, finger sandwiches, pastries, and cakes (best tea I had in London!)

25. The Sanderson (Mad Hatter's Afternoon Tea): funky tea experience, ask to be seated outside.

26. Bea’s of Bloomsbury: quaint environment, carrot cake, iced latte.

27. Bubbleology: very good bubble teas on Portobello Road.

Tourist Destinations

28. Tower of London: crown jewels were unbelievable, get there early to avoid lines.

29. London Bridge: fun to walk across during sunset, the River Thames is beautiful.

30. Buckingham Palace Stateroom Tour: only open from early July to early October, outstanding collection of the Queen's dresses and hats, truly a unique experience, my favorite museum/tour in London.

31. Changing of the Guards at Buckingham Palace: get there 1-2 hours early because thousands of tourists go everyday, it's only enjoyable if you have a good view of the guards.

32. Kensington Palace Tour: more of the Queen's wardrobe, access to several rooms and royal relics.

33. Hyde Park: beautiful gardens, lake, and restaurant.

34. Shoreditch: graffiti everywhere, cool markets and restaurants (Cereal Killer).

35. Westminster Abbey: beautiful church, hundreds of royal graves.

36. St. Paul's Cathedral: fun to walk through, unbelievable mosaics that I remember studying in art history class (which made it all the more special).

37. Big Ben: an obvious must-see.

38. 9 3/4: hour wait in line to take the picture, but feeling like a wizard for a few minutes was worth it.

40. Abbey Road: go in the morning or night, it gets very crowded during the day with other tourists and traffic (which makes it hard to get a good picture)

41. Millenium Bridge: across from the Tate Modern, pretty bridge and view of London.

42. Tate Modern: overall amazing, interesting installations, the Georgia O'Keefe exhibit was everything I could have wanted and more.

43. Tate Britain: several decades of art, traditional and modern art combined, wonderful modern art collection.

44. National Gallery and National Portrait Gallery: (And Trafalgar Square) - saw paintings by Monet and Van Gogh that I have wanted to see my entire life, incredible experience, an art history lover's dream come true.

45. Portobello Road and Notting Hill: such a fun market to walk through, cute shops, great street music, adorable houses.

Shows

46. Stomp: musical using everyday objects, spectacular.

47. Guys and Dolls: Rebel Wilson was amazing live, wait by the stage door for a chance to meet her and the rest of the cast.

48. Book of Mormon: funniest musical I saw in London, the whole theater was in constant laughter. it made me excited for the next season of SNL.

49. Beautiful, The Carol King Musical: amazing music and storyline, songs that will make you want to dance.

50. The Spoils: very intense but seeing Jesse Eisenberg and Alfie Allen act live was worth it, wait by the stage door to meet the actors and actresses.

51. Breakfast at Tiffany’s: good show but there was a lot of yelling, Pixie Lott and Matt Barber were great actors and very friendly at the stage door.

52. Impossible: magic show, more suited toward children but still mind-blowing at times.

Night

53. Zoo Bar: very fun to dance with friends, go in a group.

54. Simmons Bar: unique environment, great place to chat because it's not too crowded.

55. Bar Soho: one of the best nights I had in London, the DJ played great music and everyone danced, not too crowded.

56. Sketch - one of the coolest experiences I've ever had, everything you have heard about Sketch is true (egg bathrooms, pink tearoom, etc.), the trendiest Londoners go for drinks and the fashion looked right out of the Hunger Games Capital.

57. The Ice Bar - they give you a hooded parka and gloves before you enter the bar, the walls and glasses are made of ice, such a fun environment and experience.

birthday party

My birthday has never been my favorite holiday. I've found that I'm more excited to celebrate my friends' and family members' birthdays more than my own. I don't like being the center of attention, so I usually celebrate over dinner with a small group of family and friends. This way, I can enjoy myself naturally without feeling like I have to entertain everyone and make sure they are satisfied. In the past when I've had large parties, I was so nervous that people weren't perfectly content that I didn't enjoy myself at my own celebration.

College Informations

Most of us have already started the spring semester, and for those of you who haven't started yet, you suck.

It seems like coming back from winter break wouldn't really be a break all things considered, since we all come back to school and pick up right where we left off. We know exactly what to expect, yet we're unprepared every single time.

I'm serious

There are tons of unisex names that are popular: Taylor, Alex, Bailey, etc. There are also numerous names that are used for both sexes, but they’re not seen as “unisex” yet. People are slowly becoming accustomed to the dual use of these names, but for the most part, in their minds they associate certain names with certain sexes. And that leaves those of us with these names in many awkward situations.

You know that all of these things apply to you. You'll just never tell.

I'm an anthropology major, and I love every minute of it. I couldn't tell you why, but I guess there's just something about studying different lifestyles that absolutely fascinates me. But anthropology majors definitely have our weird sides, especially when you go to a school that is filled with mostly Business and Bio majors. But us weirdos definitely have a lot in common, specifically these 16 things.

pale girl

Everyone has insecurities, that's just a fact. You didn't ask to be born this way. You didn't ask to inherit the one trait no one else in your family has. And you definitely didn't ask to be this ghostly white. But as soon as you've learned to live with it for a while (less wrinkles later on in life, right? right???) someone has to ruin it for you. They have to flaunt they're perfectly tanned body from Spring Break and hold their sun-kissed skin against yours. But I've had enough... here are the things that perpetually pale individuals are tired of hearing.
