11 Truths About Redheads
Sara Keane

Most people want to date a blonde or a brunette. Everyone loves a blonde. But the secret fact that few have discovered is that redheads are the best. There are so many great things about those special few who happen to have that mutated genes for red hair. The best relationship I have had has involved a redhead. Here is what I learned from my favorite redhead about dating a redhead.

11. They have the prettiest eyes.

It's a common fact that redheads have blue or green eyes. Sometimes their eye color is a mix of the two. My favorite is when they have gold in their deep blue eyes.

10. They are used to people saying stupid things.

Everyone knows the common jokes about redheads. It ranges from "they steal souls" to "they have no souls." They hear these comments so often -- they are used to people saying ridiculous things. They can laugh off almost anything.

9. They are the life of the party.

No one gets down like a redhead. They are the most fun people to be around. They seem to always know what to do to get the party started. They even know what to do to keep the party going.

8. Most people overlook redheads.

Most people overlook redheads because they claim they are not attractive. Redheads happen to be just as attractive as anyone else. In my honest opinion, they are far more attractive than other people. Something about red hair is so unique.

7. They are the best kissers.

There is a connection between red hair and being a good kisser. It's in that magic gene that makes their hair red. It allows them the ability to kiss better than those missing that special gene.

6. They listen.

People don't take the time to listen to them. People are too busy telling them they're soulless. When you talk to someone with red hair they listen because they want to be listened to. They will listen to anything you have to tell them.

5. They are incredibly smart.

That magic gene is back again. Red hair is actually a sign of extreme intelligence. They actually tend to be very smart and that red haired gene gives them that edge. Something about red hair just gives them a little bit of an edge on the rest of us.

4. They really care.

Red heads are the most caring people I have met. They know how to make you feel like you are the most important person in the world. When a red head cares about you they truly care.

3. Red hair has the most variety.

No two red heads have the same shade of hair. Most of the time they don't even have the same shade as they did when you first met them. The sun changes red hair more than it does any other color. It's like watching the colors of fall leaves changing hues.

2. They have the best personalities.

Redheads are so unique. You'll never meet another person like a redhead. They laugh the most and tell the best jokes. They can make anyone happy just by being in the same room as you. They are like the sun.

1. They are so easy to love.

They are the sweetest, kindest, most caring people in the whole wide world. They have the most unique traits, ones that no one can copy, even though thousands of people try. They are unique. You will never find another person like a redhead.

Sorority
Rebekah Lee

I remember my freshman year oh so well. I remember feeling terrified the night before orientation. The one thing that I dreaded the most was not the new people, the new environment, or even the academic pressure. I was dreading having to talk to sorority girls about Recruitment. I remember cutting off and avoiding any Rho Gamma/Panhellenic Officer that came my way during First Week. I looked at them like they had asked me to cut my arm off whenever they asked me if I wanted to rush. To be honest, I did not even know what rush was, but I knew that I did NOT want to be a part of it. To me, it was dumb. It was a waste of money. It was a waste of my time.

And guess what? I did not rush my freshman year. I spent the first half of my freshman year isolating myself from everyone on campus. I spent all of my time in the library, and then (since I was a commuter) went back home once my work was finished.

Tiana would no doubt be disappointed in the food our cafeteria has to offer.

And hopefully she would cook for everyone in her dorm.

She definitley would not take any 8:00 am classes because she would be up late baking and cleaning up the communal kitchen that are available in every dorm.
