Who knew color could be a rap?

Check this out. I met a girl named Red home grown, corn fed. Turns out she's got this way about her but I'm the only one who knows somethin' about her. We went together for a couple three years and man I kept thinking about her over a couple of beers. She got me messed up like some kind of allergy always hitting me wrong like my paid vacation salary.

I'm some young kid from the 479 so what am I suppose to know about some young love that just ended up dyin? Man I ain't trying to start something you know she got me runnin already from this place I called home. So tell me Red what's it gonna be? Is it gonna be this life without me? You gave me a purpose I can finally see you made me love you since "Star Wars: Episode III." Take a grown man down to the movies, shit let's be honest my man that's some kind of trick.

Give Red all I had and she ran to her Dad and said I ain't lovin' this boy anymore he's just a fad. Hell you can give a girl all you got but man in the end it ain't worth the shot. So take your time and stand your ground or your place or you'll get a girl like red that ended up throwing me away like waste.

It's been awhile now since I seen her I heard now she's been working at the dry cleaners. Yeah, this stuff is what it's all about moving, going strong, getting out. But I can't help but notice that she's the color of blood maybe she's something I need or she's just a dud. But as I grew a little older my shoulders got a bit boulder and I tend to miss her this is true what I had with Red is what kept me from turning blue.

Some of you are wondering what you just read. Well, go back and read it like a song or some kind of rap. The other day I was listening to an interview from a list of well known rappers that talked about what got them started with rap. How did they come up with lyrics? G-Eazy is a platinum recording artist who would start out his lyrics about a certain someone but name her a certain color. He went on to explain how colors can go with anything and how it can transmit into certain emotions. That's like the color Blue represent sad or Red can mean love. The concept alone is neat so I figured I would try it out and see how cool it would be! Hope everyone enjoyed my attempt!

"Friends" maybe didn’t have everything right or realistic all the time, but they did have enough episodes to create countless reaction GIFs and enough awesomeness to create, well, the legacy they did. Something else that is timeless, a little rough, but memorable? Living away from the comforts of home. Whether you have an apartment, a dorm, your first house, or some sort of residence that is not the house you grew up in, I’m sure you can relate to most of these!

There is nothing quite like family.

Family is kinda like that one ex that you always find yourself running back to (except without all the regret and the angsty breakup texts that come along with it).

No matter how long your class is, there's always time for the mind to wander. Much like taking a shower or trying to fall asleep, sitting in a classroom can be a time when you get some of your best ideas. But, more than likely, you're probably just trying to mentally cope with listening to a boring lecturer drone on and on. Perhaps some of the following Aristotle-esque thoughts have popped into your head during class.

Bob's Burgers
Adult Swim

Bob's Burgers is arguably one of the best and most well-written shows on tv today. That, and it's just plain hilarious. From Louise's crazy antics to Tina's deadpan self-confidence, whether they are planning ways to take over school or craft better burgers, the Belchers know how to have fun. They may not be anywhere close to organized or put together, but they do offer up some wise words once and awhile.

We're in college, none of us actually have anything together. In fact, not having anything together is one of our biggest stressors. However, there's a few little things that we do ever so often that actually make us feel like we have our lives together.

1. Making yourself dinner

And no this does not include ramen or Annie's Mac & Cheese. Making a decent meal for yourself is one of the most adult things you can do living on campus. And the food is much better than it would be at the dining hall.
