So I know there are plenty of these types of articles already out there, so why not add one? There are a lot of "One Tree Hill" fans out there... I might just be the biggest. There are so many reasons why this show will always be, in my opinion, the best show ever made. The creator, Mark Schwahn, had no idea his creation was going to be such a big hit, but here are some reasons why this show made such an impact on people and to a lot of them was the best show they've ever watched.

1. The cast is hot.

I really don't need to say anything about this. I mean, look at the picture. This is the best looking cast on TV, let's be real about that.

2. It appeals to both genders.

This show has its moments where it may seem drama filled and very "soap opera"-ish. That's OK because most girls like TV shows that have some type of drama, but this show is a lot more than that. The main theme of the show truly is about a sport, basketball to be specific. There are all different kinds of situations in this show that would appeal to guys just as much as girls, and to me, that's lovely.

3. You relate to the characters.

We've all been in high school and we've all experienced the heart breaks, the friendship drama, or the pressures to be perfect at a certain sport. "One Tree Hill" really portrays these kinds of things in the main characters. Not only do we become attached to the characters, but we relate to what it is they're going through.

4. The quotes really get you thinking.

If you've ever seen the show, you know that there is a lot of great literature within, such as Julius Caesar, E.E. Cummings, and Stephen King, just to name a few. Not only do we get quotes from these great authors, but the main characters provide us with some interesting quotes. Here are some of my favorites:

"I was thinking about the finality of it all – how somebody can leave your world in the blink of an eye and be gone forever. It’s too enormous to think about. It’s too hard. And then you’re just supposed to go on, right, like just deal with it, I mean really you’re only supposed to be sad for as long as the flowers last and then, oh, time to go back to telling jokes and reminiscing about the old days" - Haley

"Truth is still absolute. Believe that. Even when that truth is hard and cold, and more painful than you’ve ever imagined. And even when truth is more cruel than any lie".- Lucas

"It’s the oldest story in the world. One day you’re 17 and planning for someday. And then quietly and without you ever really noticing, someday is today. And then someday is yesterday. And this is your life." - Nathan

"At this moment there are 6,470,818,671 people in the world. Some are running scared. Some are coming home. Some tell lies to make it through the day. Others are just now facing the truth. Some are evil men, at war with good. And some are good, struggling with evil. Six billion people in the world. Six billion souls. And sometimes — all you need is one." - Peyton

5. There are always twists and turns.

This show really has a shock factor. There's murder, there's assault, there are psychos, there's the return of characters we thought we'd never see, there are pregnancies, and so much more. Unless you've watched the show about 2079309127903 times (like me), then you'd be in for some surprises.

6. The villain gets redemption.

The villain of the show was the one and only Dan Scott. In the beginning, nobody knew they'd end up actually liking the guy. No one thought his dead brother (whom he murdered) would forgive him either. It really was awesome to see the characters on the show finally forgive Dan for his sins because he's tried too hard to find redemption, and he did.

7. The music.

Thanks to Peyton Sawyer, the audience of the show really gets to experience some awesome tunes. The song "Heartbeats" by Jose Gonzalez will always give me chills and if you're a true OTH fan, you know why! We get to see great artists, such as Fall Out Boy, Tyler Hilton, Kate Voegele, Jana Kramer, and Bethany Joy Galeotti.

8. There Are Some Serious Issues Addressed

The show has its fun episodes, but there are some serious issues addressed in the show. Just to name a few, there is a school shooting, date rape, sexual assault, and suicide attempts. The show really hits on these hard issues, but in a successful and educational way.

9. The love stories are both exhilarating and heart-wrenching.

Leyton ring a bell? It was terrible waiting for the moment these two would FINALLY get together. It was just as heart-breaking watching Haley leave Nathan to go on tour with Chris Keller or to watch Brooke take forever to let Julian love her. One of the most heart-breaking relationships in this show would be Keith and Karen. Things finally work out for them but the death of Keith changes it all. In the end, it all works out and everyone's happy, but boy was it a trip to get there.

10. It Never Gets Old.

I'm on my seventh time watching this show, and it just doesn't get old. I'm sure the same can be said by any "One Tree Hill" fan out there. I'm also sure these fans would agree this show was honestly the best show ever made.

27 Things 'The Office' Has Taught Us

"The Office" is a mockumentary based on everyday office life featuring love triangles, silly pranks and everything in between. It can get pretty crazy for just an average day at the office.

When you were little, your parents probably told you television makes your brain rot so you wouldn't watch it for twelve straight hours. However, I feel we can learn some pretty valuable stuff from television shows. "The Office," while a comedy, has some pretty teachable moments thrown in there. You may not know how to react in a situation where a co-worker does something crazy (like put your office supplies in jello) but thanks to "The Office," now you'll have an idea how to behave ifsomething like that should happen.

Here are just a few of the things that religious Office watchers can expect to learn.

High School And College Sucked All Of The Fun Out Of Reading

Books were always about understanding for me, about learning the way someone else sees, about connection.

High School And College Sucked All Of The Fun Out Of Reading

I keep making this joke whenever the idea of books is brought up: "God, I wish I knew how to read." It runs parallel to another stupid phrase, as I watch my friends struggle through their calculus classes late at night in our floor lounge: "I hope this is the year that I learn to count." They're both truly idiotic expressions, but, when I consider the former, I sometimes wonder if there's some truth to it.
