Why I Love Being A Sorority Twin

Going through college can be stressful, hard and even lonely at times. Going through it alone can make it even worse. Having that one person by your side to experience college and life with you can make everything you do and go through so much better.

1. You never get lonely.

You constantly have someone to hang out with, no matter what time of day it is. They are constantly there to keep you company or binge watch shows on Netflix with. Call, text or FaceTime them, and they will come to your side in a matter of minutes.

2. You always have someone to talk to.

When things get a little messy in your life, she is always there for you to go and talk to. She is the one that you go to for advice on anything. You know you can always count on her to tell you the harsh truth. Or if you just want someone to talk to, you can go to her and simply just talk.

3. She is your shoulder to cry on.

When you have a bad day and feel like crying, you can go straight to her and she will welcome you with open arms. She will comfort you until you are happy again. She is the one that will wipe your tears away.

4. You can't get rid of her.

No matter how hard you try, she isn't going anywhere. You are stuck with her for the rest of your life, whether you like it or not. She will be there for all the big and little things that happen throughout your life, and you will be there for her, too.

5. She is your forever friend.

She isn't someone who you meet and be friends with for just a few years. She is that friend that will be there with you and for you for the rest of your life. The day you get married, she will be there. The day you have kids, she will be there. She will be the one rocking right beside you in the rocking chair when y'all are both 90 years old.

Dear High School Friend Group,

My sweet angels, where would I be without you guys. We all grew up together because we either met in middle school or high school and watched each other grow up and get "old." We got to go to prom together and then graduate together. Then watched each other as we continued our lives in college, joining sororities and meeting people who will impact our lives forever. It all has happened so fast.

Oh college, we can’t live with you, but we can’t live without you. It’s a love/hate relationship, really. College is an experience that no one can ever prepare you for, and maybe that’s a good thing. You never really expect any of the things that college encompasses until you are there. College is fun, but don’t have too much fun. C’s get degrees, but they don’t get you into graduate school.

Blair Waldorf

The "Gossip Girl" series may be over, but Blair Waldorf's iconic character lives in our hearts forever. Blair was the queen of the Upper East Side, and a character you either loved or hated. She taught us everything we needed to know about life, love and of course, how to score a Chuck Bass. So the next time you feel a bit lost and are in need of guidance, look no further than to the Queen B herself.

As I spend my Sunday avoiding my homework and other adult responsibilities, I realized that I've watched this series over and over about a million times. Sadly, there isn't a Blair quote I don't know, so I came up with a list of a few favorites. You know you love her...xoxo

Summer: a time (usually) free from school work and a time to relax with your friends and family. Maybe you go on a vacation or maybe you work all summer, but the time off really does help. When you're in college you become super close with so many people it's hard to think that you won't see many of them for three months. But, then you get that text saying, "Hey, clear your schedule next weekend, I'm coming up" and you begin to flip out.
