11 Best Things About Having Sisters

Reasons Why Having Sisters Is The Best
Screen Rant

SISTERS…you either have them or don’t…. you either love them or hate them (but secretly love them). A lot of things come from having a sister or two. I myself have two younger sisters that at times seem like my two children and at other times seem like my best friends. No matter how annoyed I get with them, or how far away I am, I always stay connected and close with both of them. Living and growing up with sisters is simply the best, and here is why:

1. You all can make fun of your parents

Parents are lame sometimes, and other times they have different things that annoy you and your sisters… so its good to laugh at it together.

2. Have to suffer holiday traditions and family time together

You are not alone in the battlefield of family bonding. Your sisters are right there with you through the excruciating Christmas caroling or family game nights.

3. You share inside jokes

Sisters know all of your likes, dislikes and obsessions. Great thing about having sisters, is that they pretty much have these in common with you. Sometimes there is so much inside jokes going around at home, it is like you’re speaking another language.

4. Someone to always get you toilet paper

When someone forgets to change the roll at home, all you have to do is scream loud enough and they will come at a drop of a hat.

5. Shares Apple Music with you

You get to exchange new songs you each love and what is even better is that you can split the bill ;)

6. Someone’s closet to sneak stuff out of

You can always count on one of your sisters’ wardrobes to choose outfits from, even if they don’t know about it. What is great is that you can always put it back later and act like nothing happened…

7. Someone to take your Instagram photos and make you look fab.

Sisters are the best picture takers for your social media. They will take 50 photos of you just to get that one awesome selfie. No shame, no judgment... well maybe a little.

8. Vacation travel buddies

Going on family vacations is even better because you have people to enjoy it with. You all have to take the same amount of time to get ready and all want to do the same things, so your parents are outnumbered.

9. Will tell you the truth about the guy you like from the start

Sisters have no time to think about hurting your feelings when telling you their honest opinion about a guy you are interested in. They rather make you upset by telling the truth about a flakey guy, before that guy gets a chance to hurt your first.

10. Protect you from others

Sisters can sometimes be each other’s punching bag, but no one else can take a jab. If anyone tries to put you down, your sisters are the first ones there to defend you.

11. Above all, your sisters are your true best friends

You can get annoyed with them all you want, fight, yell, slam doors and tease, but the best part about having sisters is that all of that stuff does not matter in the end. They will be by your side throughout your life, and when it comes down to it, they love you for who you truly are. Sisters are the ultimate best friends.

27 Things 'The Office' Has Taught Us

"The Office" is a mockumentary based on everyday office life featuring love triangles, silly pranks and everything in between. It can get pretty crazy for just an average day at the office.

When you were little, your parents probably told you television makes your brain rot so you wouldn't watch it for twelve straight hours. However, I feel we can learn some pretty valuable stuff from television shows. "The Office," while a comedy, has some pretty teachable moments thrown in there. You may not know how to react in a situation where a co-worker does something crazy (like put your office supplies in jello) but thanks to "The Office," now you'll have an idea how to behave ifsomething like that should happen.

Here are just a few of the things that religious Office watchers can expect to learn.

High School And College Sucked All Of The Fun Out Of Reading

Books were always about understanding for me, about learning the way someone else sees, about connection.

High School And College Sucked All Of The Fun Out Of Reading

I keep making this joke whenever the idea of books is brought up: "God, I wish I knew how to read." It runs parallel to another stupid phrase, as I watch my friends struggle through their calculus classes late at night in our floor lounge: "I hope this is the year that I learn to count." They're both truly idiotic expressions, but, when I consider the former, I sometimes wonder if there's some truth to it.
