When I think of fall, I think of the smell of apple pie in the oven, the laughter of family around during the holidays, the taste of hot chocolate on a cold day, and the feeling of a cozy sweater on your brisk walk. Living in the Midwest, one of the most anticipated times of the year is fall. Fall has so many different smells, sounds, traditions, and tastes that make it the best season of them all. You may not agree with me, but then we can agree to disagree. There are so many reasons why fall is the best, but here are a few:
1. You are surrounded with pretty colors wherever you look.
The changing
2. It is finally football season and you can not wait to cheer on your favorite team for the next couple of months!
This means that you have high school football Fridays, college football Saturdays, and NFL Football on Sundays. Get all your fan gear together because
3. It is the perfect weather outside.
You can get away with just a t-shirt if you like, but you can finally break out that comfy sweater and be comfortable. Nothing is better than nuzzling up in your soft oversized hoodie after a long day.
4. The foods that come with fall are incredible, things like apple pie, hot chocolate, pumpkin flavored everything.
It can be dangerous though because it is really easy to gain ten pounds during fall.
5. You are your friends can go on a fun adventure to the corn maze, apple orchard, or pumpkin patch!
There is nothing better than having fresh apples right from the tree or carving pumpkins that you got to pick out.
6. Watching Halloween and scary movies are a perfect way to spend a lazy weekend.
Don't forget to grab your apple cider and fuzzy blanket. Check out the Disney Channel list to see when they are playing all the classics!
The list goes on and on about why fall is the best season, but I thought I would highlight a few of my personal favorites. The first day of fall is upon us and I can't wait to go on new adventures with my friends. Use this time to connect with new people, but grow your old relationships. I hope that you take advantage of everything that fall has to offer, and if you do not, it is your loss because that fluffy white stuff is coming soon!
