In high school, you have the jocks, the nerds, the hipsters, the mean girls, the popular kids, the trouble makers, the over achievers, the under achievers, the goody-two-shoes, and the theater geeks.

In college, you just have college students. College is great and here are 10 reasons why...

1. You get to make your own schedule

Don't want to have class on Friday? You can do that!

2. You're in class an average of 16 hours per week (as opposed to 35).

Seriously...how did I sit in a classroom for that long?

3. There is no dress code.

Oh my gosh.. your shoulders are showing?!?! no one cares...

4. You get to live with your friends.

It's like a sleepover every single night!

5. You can get ice cream at midnight without having to ask your mom if you can leave the house.

...woohoo for freedom!

6. You can take naps in the middle of the day.

Although, studying would be the more responsible thing to do.

7. No one cares if you wear makeup or not.

I woke up like this.

8. Professors are really chill.

Sometimes they don't even show up for class.

9. There is always free food somewhere on campus.

I can have a slice of pizza if I join your club?....sign me up!

10. There is always something to do.

Intramural games, campus ministries, live music, karaoke night, trivia, etc. There is no excuse to be bored at college.

So, enjoy it while it lasts!

18 Things I Want To Do Now That I'm 18

I'm technically an adult, so I'm legally required to live a little, right?

For the entirety of my high school career, I was always seen as the goody-two-shoes. I never got in trouble with a teacher, I kept stellar grades, and when I wasn't doing extracurricular activities, I was at home studying. Even when I did go out, it was usually with a bunch of fellow band geeks. The night would end before 11:00 PM and the only controversial activity would be a fight based on who unfairly won a round of Apples-to-Apples when someone else clearly had a better card (I promise I'm not still holding a grudge).

Now that I'm officially an adult, I want to pursue some new things. I want to experience life in a way that I never allowed myself to do prior to entering college. These are the years that I'm supposed to embark on a journey of self-discovery, so what better way to do that than to create a bucket list?

I've been super busy lately with school work, studying, etc. Besides the fact that I do nothing but AP chemistry and AP economics, I constantly think of stupid questions that are almost impossible to answer. So, maybe you could answer them for me, and if not then we can both wonder what the answers to these 15 questions could be.
