This movie is without a doubt classic and iconic. It gets real messages across while still being a great comedy. Here are 10 reasons to watch it. I do not own the photo, gifs, nor videos shown in this article.

1. The Wayans Brothers

They are the reason why the movie is so good. According to imdb they both starred in the film and a brother directed the film. They also wrote the screenplay along with others. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0381707/?ref_=nv_sr_1 - link to the imdb page for the movie.

2. Terry Crews

He's pretty funny in this movie. The scene that the above gif is from is iconic.

3. It's real about female body stresses.

Granted not every girl has felt this way, but a good few of us have felt this way.

4. 'A Thousand Miles' is even more famous because of the movie.

I knew this song before seeing the movie, but love it even more because of the movie.

5. It's quotable

I have at least two friends who can quote this entire movie. Any movie that people can quote the entire thing is worth watching.

6. It's funny

From start to finish this movie will have you laughing.

7. The struggles of long hair

Anyone with super or just plain regular long hair knows this struggle.

8. The dance battle

9. The 'Yo' mamma jokes'

This gif is only part of the scene and its quite hilarious!

10. The message of the movie

Most comedies don't intend to have a message. This movie does. The message is that money doesn't buy happiness. Stepping into your significant other's shoes that you can gain insight into their life. Also you don't have to be someone's "booty call." Girls and guys are worth so much more. The gif isn't from the movie, but it does get the point across that there was a message in the movie.

As college students, we are all familiar with the horror show that is course registration week. Whether you are an incoming freshman or selecting classes for your last semester, I am certain that you can relate to how traumatic this can be.

1. When course schedules are released and you have a conflict between two required classes.

Bonus points if it is more than two.

Raising the minimum wage to a livable wage would not only benefit workers and their families, it would also have positive impacts on the economy and society. Studies have shown that by increasing the minimum wage, poverty and inequality can be reduced by enabling workers to meet their basic needs and reducing income disparities.

I come from a low-income family. A family, like many others in the United States, which has lived paycheck to paycheck. My family and other families in my community have been trying to make ends meet by living on the minimum wage. We are proof that it doesn't work.

For many undergraduates across the nation, the home stretch has begun. Only one more semester remains in our undergraduate career. Oh, the places we will go! For the majority of college seniors, this is simultaneously the best and worst year out of the past four and here’s why.

1. The classes you are taking are actually difficult.

A schedule full of easy pottery throwing and film courses is merely a myth on the average campus. With all of those prerequisites for the upper-level courses and the never-ending battle you fight each year during registration for limited class seats, senior year brings with it the ability to register for the final courses you need to fulfill your major. Yet, these are not the easy entry level courses. These are the comprehensive, end of major, capstone courses designed to apply the knowledge from all your previous courses, usually in the form of an extensive research paper or engaged learning project. The upside is you actually probably really enjoy these classes but alas there is no room for slackers here.
