Salem, Massachusets. The very name of this town brings thoughts of black cats and cackling witches to the forefront of our minds. Some might think about having to read The Crucible in high school, and then tortured with the movie afterward.

Sure, Salem has turned into a total Tourist Trap, but that's part of its modern charm! (See what I did there?!)

So, let's put on our conical caps, grab our broomsticks, or vacuum for the modern witch, and fly into town...

1. Bewitched Statue

Practice your nose wiggles! There's no better of a place that Elizabeth Montgomery's likeness should be hanging out on her broomstick. It's also a perfect photo opportunity!!

2. Shopping Galore

THERE'S EVEN A HARRY POTTER STORE! And a real apothacary for all your witchy needs!

3. You can ride the train in

Especially great for Potter Fanatics! Hop on the train and ride back through time to part of our nations darker history.

4. Trolley Tours

Great for people who may not have the time or energy to walk through the entire town!

5. Rich History

When you visit, you will learn all about the terrible events that put this town on the map. I highly suggest visiting at least a few of the special historical sites, including the town graveyard where a memorial to those executed has been erected.

6. Museums

With great history comes many museums! Be sure you head to the Witch Museum first in order to get your tickets- they sell out quickly! And they offer discounts throughout the town.

7. Pumpkin Ice Cream @ Melt

Okay, sure, the pumpkin spice flavored everything has gotten out of hand. But, I assure you, this tastes like you sold your soul to the devil!

8. SOUVENIRS

You can't go to Salem and not get a witchy mug or a fun new sweatshirt! Or, pick up a kitchen witch for your home.

9. Costumes and Cosplay are encouraged

All year round, you can cosplay when you visit Salem! Even more so in October!

10. You can get in touch with your inner magic!

There's a witch in all of us! Now is the perfect time to learn about what real witches believe in, what mass hysteria does to a community, and just enjoy the atmosphere Salem, MA has to offer!

I think the hardest thing about going away to college is figuring out how to become an adult. Leaving a household where your parents took care of literally everything (thanks, Mom!) and suddenly becoming your own boss is overwhelming. I feel like I'm doing a pretty good job of being a grown-up, but once in awhile I do something that really makes me feel like I'm #adulting. Twenty-somethings know what I'm talking about.

I went to a small high school, like 120-people-in-my-graduating-class small. It definitely had some good and some bad, and if you also went to a small high school, I’m sure you’ll relate to the things that I went through.

1. If something happens, everyone knows about it

Who hooked up with whom at the party? Yeah, heard about that an hour after it happened. You failed a test? Sorry, saw on Twitter last period. Facebook fight or, God forbid, real fight? It was on half the class’ Snapchat story half an hour ago. No matter what you do, someone will know about it.

Chandler Bing

I'm assuming that we've all heard of the hit 90's TV series, Friends, right? Who hasn't? Admittedly, I had pretty low expectations when I first started binge watching the show on Netflix, but I quickly became addicted.

Without a doubt, Chandler Bing is the most relatable character, and there isn't an episode where I don't find myself thinking, Yup, Iam definitely the Chandler of my friend group.

Working with the public can be a job, in and of itself. Some people are just plain rude for no reason. But regardless of how your day is going, always having to be in the best of moods, or at least act like it... right?

1. When a customer wants to return a product, hands you the receipt, where is printed "ALL SALES ARE FINAL" in all caps.

2. Just because you might be having a bad day, and you're in a crappy mood, doesn't make it okay for you to yell at me or be rude to me. I'm a person with feelings, just like you.

3. People refusing to be put on hold when a customer is standing right in front of you. Oh, how I wish I could just hang up on you!
