The Scenic View: Coming up towards the orchard is a little road that takes you straight up the mountain to some of the most breathtaking views of the valley and mountains that Virginia offers. You can comfortably drink hot apple cider and enjoy a warm apple cider donut while relaxing on the back porch with friends and family watching the world melt around you with the amazing landscapes.

Alcohol: Underneath the cozy back porch of Carter Mountain’s gift shop is a Bold Rock Cider brewery. The brewery offers a delicious selection of cider’s made from local apples. The brewery even offers a sneak peek and tasting of seasonal drinks that are not yet released to the public!

Dog and Family friendly: Rest assured you will leave the orchard with baby and puppy fever after having witnessed the many adorable puppies and children frolic happily in-between the rows and rows of magnificent apples trees.

The Perfect Date: The Orchard is wallet friendly to high school and college students and offers a unique and engaging experience with the newly dating. The romantic atmosphere and photogenic scenery is a perfect spot to kick back and have a conversation with a loved one.

Close to Nature: Bring a blanket and pick a spot on the lawn to stretch out and just enjoy the fresh air. The cool breeze off the mountain will welcome you into some flannels and wool socks while watching the sunset. It’s the perfect spot to disconnect from the work week and enjoy some much needed rest and relaxation.

The Apples: And of course the orchard offers many different varieties of apples that all patrons can pick at leisure! The apples can be eagerly picked and priced by weight.

pale girl

Everyone has insecurities, that's just a fact. You didn't ask to be born this way. You didn't ask to inherit the one trait no one else in your family has. And you definitely didn't ask to be this ghostly white. But as soon as you've learned to live with it for a while (less wrinkles later on in life, right? right???) someone has to ruin it for you. They have to flaunt they're perfectly tanned body from Spring Break and hold their sun-kissed skin against yours. But I've had enough... here are the things that perpetually pale individuals are tired of hearing.
