If you watch "New Girl", you know that it is the epitome of amazing. A gift from the FOX gods. It is such an underrated show that doesn't get nearly enough credit. It is so hilarious and has a very diverse cast with so many different personalities. If you are caught up on all of the seasons like me, you are probably going through withdrawals. Not to worry! I have compiled a list of some of the funniest quotes and moments from the show, for reminiscing purposes.

1. Schmidt reliving his childhood.

"I had figure skating lessons until I was thirteen. Then my mom sobered up and realized I was a boy."

2. When Jess was NOT okay with Cece and Schmidt dating

Jess: "Two moons have passed since you started doing it?"
Winston: "Why do you start talking like a Native American when you get angry?"
Jess: "Two moons have passed!"

3. When Schmidt pretended to be a Romney to get girls

4. Schmidt's take on bathtubs.

"Bathtubs are just medieval filth cauldrons."

5. That time Jess started stressing over having kids

Jess: "I’m 30, I’m single, and I just started a new job. Tonight I used a bread roll to wipe butter off my face, and then I ate the bread roll, so I essentially used my face as a butter knife. I don’t think I’m ready to bring new life into this world, but…what if all that’s left are the weird eggs? And the evil eggs?"

6. When Nick basically summed up overly-fancy restaurants in one sentence.

7. When Cece, Coach and Nick got high and went to a party full of police officers

8. When Nick doubted his education

"I'm not convinced I know how to read, I've just memorized a lot of words."

9. Winston's job interview

10. Fawn Moscato's subtle digs

11. Winston keeping it real, as usual.

"We're going to Best Buy for Black Friday. Or as I like to call it, Friday."

12. And one of my personal favorites

On the Upper East Side, Blair Waldorf is an icon. She's what every girl aspires to be. She's beautiful, confident, and can handle any obstacle that life throws at her. Sure, she may just be a television character. But for me, she's a role model and theres a lot that can be learned from Queen B.

“I just want you to know that you’re very special… and the only reason I’m telling you is that I don’t know if anyone else ever has.”

We Heart It

Over the past decade, television has undergone a very crucial transition: the incorporation of female lead characters. Without these characters, women would still be sitting in the background of our favorite shows. These women are not only trailblazers for female empowerment, but role models for women worldwide. With that, here are 15 of the smartest, sassiest ladies gracing our screens that remind us that women do, indeed, rule:
