As someone who already had too many shows to watch, I decided to add a few more on my schedule this fall, and I'm so happy I did because NBC's Timeless is a new favorite. I finally look forward to Mondays because I know I get to see the Time Team go back in time on anther adventure at 10 pm. So, if you haven't watched Timeless yet, here are some reasons why you should and if you have, here are five reasons why you probably do.

1. The history

You don't have to be a history buff to watch the show. I actually grew up hating history class but this show makes me love history.

It's part of why when someone asks me how Timeless was I say, "Freaking awesome."

It's cool they bring up major historical events, but it's even cooler that, in those events, we learn smaller details that we may not have known before. It also makes you realize how important history is because when history changes in the show (even if it's slight), they get back to 'our world' and things have changed. In other words, you shouldn't change history (duh).

2. Sets and wardrobe

I have to admit, I'm a sucker for some awesome costumes and extravagant sets.

Every week is a new era and that means every week we get to see period costumes that I wish I could own.

3. It's intense and action-packed

There's so much that can go wrong, so it's crucial to make sure things are done as accurately as possible.

"The present isn't perfect, but it's ours." -Lucy

Every episode has some kind of action... and it seriously stresses me out sometimes.

4. The humor

Wyatt: Okay, so you're telling me there's a new Bond movie with Sean Connery and we're in it?

Me: So, why didn't you take me with you?

Pop culture references are the best.

And you can bet there is more where that came from...

5. The Time Team

"An unlikely trio traveling through time to battle unknown criminals in order to protect history as we know it."

Another thing I love is that each character has their own battles they're going through. They each have their own storylines and it's cool how they infuse themselves in the history they time travel to.

Lucy Preston - The historian

Abigail Spencer, I am jealous of the amazing clothes you get to wear.

Wyatt Logan - The soldier

Matt Lanter, I have missed seeing you on my TV screen.

Rufus Carlin - The scientist

Malcolm Barrett, I am so excited to finally meet you. You've done a lot of work but I had yet to see any of it until now.

This is the Time Team, and they're freaking awesome.

With wonderful actors and great writing that keeps you guessing, why wouldn't you want to spend your Monday nights with the Time Team.

So, you ready to watch Timeless yet?

New year, new semester, not the same old thing. This semester will be a semester to redeem all the mistakes made in the previous five months.

1. I will wake up (sorta) on time for class.

Let's face it, last semester you woke up with enough time to brush your teeth and get to class and even then you were about 10 minutes late and rollin' in with some pretty unfortunate bed head. This semester we will set our alarms, wake up with time to get ready, and get to class on time!

And so it begins.

1. Walk in motivated and ready to rock

Camping out at the library is not for the faint of heart. You need to go in as a warrior. You usually have brought supplies (laptop, chargers, and textbooks) and sustenance (water, snacks, and blanket/sweatpants) since the battle will be for an undetermined length of time. Perhaps it is one assignment or perhaps it's four. You are motivated and prepared; you don’t doubt the assignment(s) will take time, but you know it couldn’t be that long.

December... it's full of finals, due dates, Mariah Carey, and the holidays. It's the worst time of the year, but the best because after finals, you get to not think about classes for a month and catch up on all the sleep you lost throughout the semester. But what's worse than finals week is the last week of classes, when all the due dates you've put off can no longer be put off anymore.

Thanksgiving break is over and Christmas is just around the corner and that means, for most college students, one hellish thing — finals week. It's the one time of year in which the library becomes over populated and mental breakdowns are most frequent. There is no way to avoid it or a cure for the pain that it brings. All we can do is hunker down with our books, order some Dominos, and pray that it will all be over soon. Luckily, we are not alone in this suffering. To prove it, here are just a few of the many deranged thoughts that go through a college student's mind during finals week.

I know every college student has daily thoughts throughout their day. Whether you're walking on campus or attending class, we always have thoughts running a mile a minute through our heads. We may be wondering why we even showed up to class because we'd rather be sleeping, or when the professor announces that we have a test and you have an immediate panic attack.
