Virginia Beach This Summer!

Summer has arrived and here are some reasons to visit Virginia Beach

Are you ready for a exciting, fun packed summer? The southern Virginia area will be the perfect place to vacation!

1. Outdoors

Virginia Beach is known for its great local beaches for tourism. The Ocean Front contains shops for the perfect souvenir, food for the perfect breakfast, brunch,lunch, or dinner, and activities for the perfect adventure. The Ocean Front is not the only beach! Surprised? The area many beaches for every area including Sandbridge, Croatan, and Chicks Beach. For a nice, relaxing time away from the tourist side of town, Sandbridge is a residential favorite. Sandbridge provides shelters to have beach parties and the best BBQs. Little Island Park includes picnic shelters, tennis court, basketball court, volleyball court, playground, fishing pier, restrooms, and surfing/swimming.

For the nature lovers Back Bay National Wildlife Park is right around the corner! Known for their large sand dunes, freshwater marshes, ponds, ocean, and wildlife this would be a great family adventure.

2. Events

Events are a huge part of Virginia Beach life! Concerts, festivals, marathons, and much more! During the summer seasons, Virginia Beach Ocean Front, Town Center, Mount Trashmore and Farm Bureau Live (Amphitheater) is the destination to be.

Ocean Front - Beach Street USA

A personal favorite, every summer magicians, musicians, the circus, performers all gather on the parks, streets, beach, and boardwalk to present an extravagant show.

Town Center - Ynot Wednesdays

Every Wednesdays outside the Sandler Center Outdoor Plaza are free local band live concerts sponsored by Ynot Pizza with food to purchase, games, and great vibes.

Mount Trashmore - July Fourth

The day of America's independence, Mount Trashmore brings together people from locals to tourists. The best time is the arrive early to save the perfect spot on the mountain. Near the start of the fireworks everyone parks far away, walks, runs, bikes or find any other transportation to witness the beauty.

Farm Bureau Live - Concerts

Who doesn't enjoy nice live music from the top hottest artists? The best of the best artists including Fifth Harmony, Blink 182, Demi Lovato, Nick Jonas, Brad Paisley and many more come to sing their hearts out. There are two seating areas. The front area underneath the large canopy and the fresh grass behind the canopy.
