For those of you who didn't already know, Texans are very proud to be from the great Lone Star state. There is a very rich culture and many things that be hard to wrap your head around, so today I hope to help you understand a little something about how we do gas stations. Buc-ee's is a chain of mega-sized convenience stops in the central and Gulf Coast region of Texas. The company is owned by Arch "Beaver" Aplin III and Don Wasek, headquartering in Lake Jackson, Texas. Much like everyone else in the massive state, the owners think that everything should be bigger in Texas. In addition to cheap gas, the gas station has won multiple awards for having the cleanest bathrooms in the state. It prides itself on cleanliness and uniqueness. The store offers other products such as snacks, drinks, a deli, coffee shop, exterior tunnel car washes, Texas-themed specialty gifts and food and products catering to hunters and river rafters. Also sold at the stores are private labeled beef jerky, novelty candy, trail mixes, granola, pralines, jarred veggies, preserves and salsa. All locations are open 24 hours a day and 365 days a year.

1. Beaver Nuggets

This is Buc-ee's No. 1 branded product. It is a caramel and butter-glazed corn puff that melts in your mouth and warms your soul.

2. Clean bathrooms

Buc-ee's has earned multiple awards for the cleanliness and effectiveness of their restrooms. When it comes to searching for a rest stop on road trips, the two things people tend to consider are how cheap the gas is and how clean the restrooms seem to be. Because Buc-ee's is known for cheap gas and amazing bathrooms, they have no problem attracting customers. In each store there are around 20 stalls, each with personal hand sanitizers and toilet seat covers. There are plenty of mirrors and sinks for everyone to get in and out in the cleanest way possible.

3. The Iccee Machine

In each of the Buc-ee's stores there is a massive Iccee dispensing machine with around eight different flavors. If you're addicted to these Slurpee's like I am, you know this is a big deal.

4. Fudge

Buc-ee's is also well known for their homemade fudge sold at the stores. Flavors include chocolate, vanilla, peanut butter, Rocky Road and more.

5. Texas Gifts

In addition to Buc-ee's merchandise, you can buy all kinds of different Texas favorites in the store for anyone who needs a little more Texas in their life. My favorite gift purchase from Buc-ee's is probably the "Don't Mess With Texas" refrigerator magnet that I made my Louisiana-raised roommates put on our shared freezer space.

6. Variety

Every single snack you could ever crave on the road can be found at Buc-ee's. Every flavor of Dorito, every single chocolate bar you've ever eaten and what seems like hundreds of Wonka products.

7. Healthy Options

In addition to all the junk food your little heart could desire, Buc-ee's also has ready to eat chicken salad, tuna salad, wraps, salads fruit and more!

8. Staff

The staff at Buc-ee's is highly valued and therefore some of the nicest gas station employees you've ever had the pleasure to come in contact with.

9. Texas

I mean the store was born in bred in Texas! How could it get any better?

18 Things I Want To Do Now That I'm 18

I'm technically an adult, so I'm legally required to live a little, right?

For the entirety of my high school career, I was always seen as the goody-two-shoes. I never got in trouble with a teacher, I kept stellar grades, and when I wasn't doing extracurricular activities, I was at home studying. Even when I did go out, it was usually with a bunch of fellow band geeks. The night would end before 11:00 PM and the only controversial activity would be a fight based on who unfairly won a round of Apples-to-Apples when someone else clearly had a better card (I promise I'm not still holding a grudge).

Now that I'm officially an adult, I want to pursue some new things. I want to experience life in a way that I never allowed myself to do prior to entering college. These are the years that I'm supposed to embark on a journey of self-discovery, so what better way to do that than to create a bucket list?

I've been super busy lately with school work, studying, etc. Besides the fact that I do nothing but AP chemistry and AP economics, I constantly think of stupid questions that are almost impossible to answer. So, maybe you could answer them for me, and if not then we can both wonder what the answers to these 15 questions could be.
