I'll be the first to admit that when I saw everyone at my school begin to walk around with their "S'well" water bottles, I thought it was just another expensive trend that didn't do anyone any good. I judged my friends for spending so much money on a water bottle, which I've always seen as something that should be inexpensive. But now, as I sip out of my own S'well bottle, I want to explain to you why my initial reaction to this trend couldn't be more wrong.

1.    It’s cheaper

I understand that the price on that water bottle can be daunting at first. I got mine as a gift, which definitely made the choice easier for me (returning the bottle would have been more work than it was worth). However, with all of the knock-off versions from stores like Target and Amazon, you could get your water bottle for under $15! While this doesn't seem like a great deal, if you do the math, a case of water that costs about $0.21 per bottle ($5.00 for a 24-pack) will break even with a $15 bottle at 72 uses. If you are drinking the minimum of 64 ounces of water per day (but everyone is different!), after less than a month you will already begin to save money!

2.    It encourages you to drink water

While it seems silly, having a water bottle in your favorite color or design really does make you want to take it everywhere with you! Just like anything else, having something that you are proud of makes you more inclined to show it off! So, get a pattern that matches your personal style, so you can sport it at the gym, in class, at work, and even at home!

3.    It insulates your drink

One of the worst feelings is being so incredibly thirsty and you go to take a drink from your water bottle…and it actually makes you even more thirsty. No one likes warm water, especially on a hot day or after coming out of an intense workout. Instead, you can put your water in this aluminum insulated water bottle and keep your water cold all day! I personally have left my S'well bottle filled with cold water in direct sunlight for hours, and the water tastes as if I just took it out of my fridge! You can also keep hot drinks like tea and coffee in your bottle during the winter, which I can also attest to being just as hot as they were when I poured them!

4.    It is environmentally friendly

Even though this may not be many people's main motivation behind investing in a reusable water bottle, it is a great way to reduce the amount of plastic that we use and keep our planet a better place! While plastic water bottles can break down, they are not completely biodegradable. Because of this, they break down into fragments that pollute the oceans and make animals sick. Instead, it is much easier to use a reusable water bottle and do your part to keep Earth a great place for all of us to live!

I think the hardest thing about going away to college is figuring out how to become an adult. Leaving a household where your parents took care of literally everything (thanks, Mom!) and suddenly becoming your own boss is overwhelming. I feel like I'm doing a pretty good job of being a grown-up, but once in awhile I do something that really makes me feel like I'm #adulting. Twenty-somethings know what I'm talking about.

I went to a small high school, like 120-people-in-my-graduating-class small. It definitely had some good and some bad, and if you also went to a small high school, I’m sure you’ll relate to the things that I went through.

1. If something happens, everyone knows about it

Who hooked up with whom at the party? Yeah, heard about that an hour after it happened. You failed a test? Sorry, saw on Twitter last period. Facebook fight or, God forbid, real fight? It was on half the class’ Snapchat story half an hour ago. No matter what you do, someone will know about it.

Chandler Bing

I'm assuming that we've all heard of the hit 90's TV series, Friends, right? Who hasn't? Admittedly, I had pretty low expectations when I first started binge watching the show on Netflix, but I quickly became addicted.

Without a doubt, Chandler Bing is the most relatable character, and there isn't an episode where I don't find myself thinking, Yup, Iam definitely the Chandler of my friend group.

Working with the public can be a job, in and of itself. Some people are just plain rude for no reason. But regardless of how your day is going, always having to be in the best of moods, or at least act like it... right?

1. When a customer wants to return a product, hands you the receipt, where is printed "ALL SALES ARE FINAL" in all caps.

2. Just because you might be having a bad day, and you're in a crappy mood, doesn't make it okay for you to yell at me or be rude to me. I'm a person with feelings, just like you.

3. People refusing to be put on hold when a customer is standing right in front of you. Oh, how I wish I could just hang up on you!
