In 1964, the first Wawa location opened in Folsom, Pennsylvania. At that time, the store supplied customers with the best dairy products on the market. Originally, Wawa delivered dairy products, but with the decline of dairy delivery services in the 1960s, Wawa opened its first store. Since then, Wawa evolved into the best small convenience store in America, with locations in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Delaware, Maryland, Virginia and Florida. Wawa continues to grow and excell while their competitors wither. The following elements set Wawa apart from the competition.

1. Quality

Wawa provides only fresh ingredients, and your tastebuds will be very pleased!

2. Convenience

In areas that Wawa has a presence, it isn't uncommon to be five minutes away from a store. Access is super easy, and you can be in and out in even less time than it took to get there. The best part is, they are open 24/7 365 days a year.

3. Cleanliness

There is hand sanitizer at the counter, they are always mopping their floors and wiping the counters and the bathrooms are practically spotless.

4. Friendliness

I don't know where they find the amazing employees that work at Wawa, but they are so genuine and friendly, that it is always a pleasant experience.

5. Surcharge-Free ATM

This one is self explanatory.

6. Gasoline

When you go to Wawa for gasoline, they have many pumps. For some reason their gas seems to be slightly cheaper than the competitions. Plus, they always have a squeegee to clean your windows at the pump! Oh, and if you are refilling in New Jersey, they pump your gas for free!

7. Fresh Ready-to-Eat Foods

You can always count on having fresh fruits and salads to enjoy. Wawa also has freshly made breakfast sandwiches for anyone on the go in the morning.

8. Fresh Made-to-Order Foods

First of all, it's not a sub-- It's a hoagie! With your hot or cold hoagies, you can get a side like mac and cheese or mashed potatoes. Other lunch and dinner options include sandwiches, paninis, quesadillas, and more. For breakfast, you can get a custom breakfast sandwich on your choice of bread, a bagel or even pancakes! All custom orders are entered on a touchscreen interface, so it's quick, easy and almost impossible to mess up the order.

9. Coffee

Wawa is known for its wide selection of freshly brewed coffee. There are many flavorings that you can add like mocha and s'mores. You also have all the fixings like cream and sugar to add to your coffee. Now, Wawa has made-to order coffee beverages and they are pretty good too!

10. Pretzels

The Philly style pretzels are a favorite of many travellers stopping in at Wawa on the way to their destination.

11. Dairy

Even after all of these years, Wawa still carries their own dairy products.

12. ESOP (Employee Stock Ownership Plan)

This is something that is really admirable about Wawa. Many of the company's employees own stock in the company. In fact, more than 40 percent of the company is owned by the employees!

6 Signs You Are An English Major

There are various stereotypes about college students, most of which revolve around the concept of your major. Unfortunately, we often let stereotypes precede our own judgments, and we take what information is immediately available to us rather than forming our own opinions after considerable reflection. If I got a dollar for every time my friends have made a joke about my major I could pay my tuition. One stereotype on campus is the sensitive, overly critical and rigid English major. Here are six telltale signs you are one of them.
