Bye bye heat and hello fall

Summer is everyones favorite time of the year well it used to be due to no school, beach vacations, travel sports, and many other things. Now that it is winding down and school is starting back everyone is ready for fall.

Why do we like fall so much?

1. Colors to live for.

All the oranges, reds, yellows, and hits of green. All make for some cute and aesthetic photos

2. Pumpkin spiced every thing.

Pumpkin spiced lattes, muffins, frappes, cappuccino, expresso, bread, cookies. The list to could go on.

3. Weather that is not temperamental

The weather for fall is amazing. Not to hot or to cold but more like lukewarm. Good for any type of outfit, mainly a good ole sweater, jeans, and ankle boots.

4. Everything smells like pumpkin

All the way from perfume to candles and all the in between.

5. Halloween is right around the coroner

Its time to get your halloween gear out and start to fill up the candy buckets. Burst out the Hocus Pocus and make those little pumkin cookies.

6. Time for food and holidays

Not only Halloween that we get to forward to but also Thanksgiving. That means its time to stuff our faces and no sharing plates of food. Then its only a matter of time before Christmas!!!!

7. Piles and Piles of leaves

Leaves falling to the ground are the best. If you get a big enough pile you can jump into them throw them everywhere and so on. Makes for amazing photos too.

It is that time of year again. Christmastime. It is one of my favorite seasons for a myriad of reasons. Here are just a few reasons why I love Christmas. This list is in no order of importance.

1. The Christmas decorations

I am that person who will decorate directly after Thanksgiving is over. This year, my roommates and I put the tree up in our apartment before we even left for Thanksgiving break. It is a great stress reliever for me to just sit in my living room and work on the huge amount of work I have before the semester is over.

Mistakes are something we all make, no matter how old we get. Most of the time, the mistakes we made are little and sometimes due to something out of our control. Yet, there are mistakes that are bigger than others. Personally, I have mistakes that I wish I could go back and undo. Here they are:

Writing a paper is never fun and is rarely rewarding. The writer's block, the page requirement, be specific, but don’t summarize, make sure you fixed any grammatical errors, did you even use spellcheck? and analyze, analyze, analyze.

Papers can be a major pain. They take up so much time and effort that by the end of the process you hate yourself and you hate the professor for making life so difficult. Questions of your existence start roaming in your mind. Am I even cut out for college if I can’t write a single paper? Am I even capable of taking care of myself if I lack the energy to open my laptop and start typing?
