For The Next Time You Feel That Your World Is Falling Apart

In This Article:

A lot of times, we get into situations where getting out of it or fighting back seems impossible. Does that mean it's the end? Of course not! If you ever feel like taking your life for something that does not let you live, follow these tips.

Think about why you are in this situation

Flickr

Consider the possible reasons behind your thinking this way. What is causing you to take such a decision? Is there any way to rectify it? It's all about finding a solution and there always is, if you look enough.

Talk to people who love you

If that still does not make you feel better, talk to someone who you know truly cares for you and will give you good advice. After all, talking makes a lot of things better.

Listen to some motivational songs

Music has the ability to control our emotions. Listen to some songs that motivate you the most...that tell you not to give up yet.

Think about the ill consequences after the action you plan on taking

Deviant Art

What do you think can happen to your family or people who care for you? Won't their lives be disturbed? Will they ever be able to forgive themselves for not being good enough to be a reason for you to live? Think about it, round and again.

Stay away from people who provide extra stress in life

Flickr

If you think some people mess with your mental or emotional stability, try erasing them out of your life. Don't hang out with them. Don't listen to them. Just ignore their mere existence. Go out and find people who make you feel good about yourself. You deserve that!

Remember those times when you've been at your best

Thinking about times when you had achieved something, had been praised for something or had maybe just felt confident about something, can boost your will power a great amount. That is needed a lot to keep going.

Remember the happy moments

Flickr

Reminisce some great times you've spent with your family, friends or by yourself. You can have more of them only if you can manage to not let go.

Try creating few back-up plans

Flickr

If the case is such that there's a possibility for you to not accomplish something you have tried hard for, try finding some other plans where you can accomplish easily. Not having any back-up plans is unrealistic. Have multiple back-up plans. You will definitely end up somewhere good.

Think about your bucket list

Flickr

Think about all the things you've ever wanted to try! Maybe getting on a gondola at Venice or kissing on the Eiffel Tower at Paris or Climbing the Everest, the list can be endless but you can only live them if you live. So, don't quit.

Keep on working harder

Flickr

Finally, keep working hard. You never lose if you work hard enough. Don't give up. Have some faith.

They say everything happens for a reason. It is true. Don't lose hope, ever. There are so many doors to your future, you have to choose one. There's always a way to find a better one if one does not work out for you. Only remember, you are precious and you can do it!

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
