There are two types of people: Those in favor of the holiday season starting November 1st and those opposed. Personally, I am fully in favor of starting the holiday season as soon as the first cold day hits. To try and help you see why the holidays need to start as soon as possible, here are eleven reasons the holiday season should start November first.

1. The best type of music is holiday music.

So much love for Pentatonix and Michael Bublé.

2. You can buy holiday decorations without being judged.

I'm not a broke college student when it comes to decorations.

3. There is just something extra cozy about this time.

You can't reach the same level of cozy in the summer as you can in winter.

4.The best time to wear a striped sweater is . . .

All the time.

5. Starbucks cups are released.

The. Red. Cups.

6. Along with that, so are seasonal drinks.

Peppermint mochas are where it's at.

7. I have a reason to shop.

I mean for my family..not just for myself.

8. The countdown to finals begins.

T- 42 days until finals week.

9. Thanksgiving is just the beginning of the season.

It's just the beginning of being in the spirit.

10. It's cold.

I missed my winter coat, gloves, and cozy gray infinity scarf.

11. There are less than two months until the actual holidays.

Two months really isn't that long.

I understand many people are advocates for Thanksgiving, but Thanksgiving is all about spending time with loved ones and being grateful. This is also a huge part of the holiday season which is why I say start celebrating ASAP!! I just really love the holidays and feel that the cheer should be spread for more than a week.

To those who celebrate, you just spent an entire day cooking an elaborate meal with all of your favorite foods. You probably ate your body weight in pumpkin pie and mashed potatoes. What happens now? Oh yea, Christmas. It’s time to take out all of the decorations and Christmas themed things that have been sitting in the attic since last year; it’s time to make a reappearance. So, here are 10 things that happen the second Thanksgiving is over.

18 Things I Want To Do Now That I'm 18

I'm technically an adult, so I'm legally required to live a little, right?

For the entirety of my high school career, I was always seen as the goody-two-shoes. I never got in trouble with a teacher, I kept stellar grades, and when I wasn't doing extracurricular activities, I was at home studying. Even when I did go out, it was usually with a bunch of fellow band geeks. The night would end before 11:00 PM and the only controversial activity would be a fight based on who unfairly won a round of Apples-to-Apples when someone else clearly had a better card (I promise I'm not still holding a grudge).

Now that I'm officially an adult, I want to pursue some new things. I want to experience life in a way that I never allowed myself to do prior to entering college. These are the years that I'm supposed to embark on a journey of self-discovery, so what better way to do that than to create a bucket list?

I've been super busy lately with school work, studying, etc. Besides the fact that I do nothing but AP chemistry and AP economics, I constantly think of stupid questions that are almost impossible to answer. So, maybe you could answer them for me, and if not then we can both wonder what the answers to these 15 questions could be.
