I grew up going to all sorts of camps. Day camps, overnight camps, church camps, athletic camps, you name it. I honestly believe that these camps helped mold me into the person I am today, and I will be sending my future kids to them as well. If you are on the fence about it, here is a list of reasons you should go to summer camp.

1. You make new friends

Whether you go with a group from home or go alone, you will make new friendships!

2. You'll learn social skills

You will learn how to interact with people who are not from your hometown.

3. You'll be exposed to different types of people

The people you meet will be from different places and come from different backgrounds. If you listen to them, you may learn a lot about different types of people.

4. You will learn a lot

You will learn about yourself and whatever you are going to camp for. You can overall better yourself if you try and pay attention.

5. It's fun

You will have the time of your life trying new things.

6. You get to travel

I think the farthest I've went was maybe three to four hours away, but you get to discover a place you didn't know existed or you get more insight to your favorite places.

7. Beautiful Sceneries

You could be in nature, at the beach, or even a quaint town. Either way, you will find great places for pictures!

8. You will be active

You will have the chance to get out of the house and adventure.

9. You will bring new skills home

No matter what kind of camp you go to, you will be able to bring new skills home and better yourself or your craft.

10. You will have superiors who care

I still talk to some of my camp counselors after many years apart, they will only be a few years older than you and can help you get through things they've already been through.

11. You may not have cell phone service

I know you are probably not happy with this one, but honestly you need to get off your phone and disconnect to have fun.

12. You may be able to conquer some fears

Most camps I have been to have given you free time to go do activities that you normally wouldn't, like climbing. Camp is your time to break out of your comfort zone.

13. You become more independent

You may be away from your family, or anyone you know. This is your chance to prove you will be okay when it is time to leave the nest.

My advice: just go to camp. You will have the time of your life meeting new people and trying new things. You may get homesick, but it truly is so worth it.

I think the hardest thing about going away to college is figuring out how to become an adult. Leaving a household where your parents took care of literally everything (thanks, Mom!) and suddenly becoming your own boss is overwhelming. I feel like I'm doing a pretty good job of being a grown-up, but once in awhile I do something that really makes me feel like I'm #adulting. Twenty-somethings know what I'm talking about.

I went to a small high school, like 120-people-in-my-graduating-class small. It definitely had some good and some bad, and if you also went to a small high school, I’m sure you’ll relate to the things that I went through.

1. If something happens, everyone knows about it

Who hooked up with whom at the party? Yeah, heard about that an hour after it happened. You failed a test? Sorry, saw on Twitter last period. Facebook fight or, God forbid, real fight? It was on half the class’ Snapchat story half an hour ago. No matter what you do, someone will know about it.

Chandler Bing

I'm assuming that we've all heard of the hit 90's TV series, Friends, right? Who hasn't? Admittedly, I had pretty low expectations when I first started binge watching the show on Netflix, but I quickly became addicted.

Without a doubt, Chandler Bing is the most relatable character, and there isn't an episode where I don't find myself thinking, Yup, Iam definitely the Chandler of my friend group.

Working with the public can be a job, in and of itself. Some people are just plain rude for no reason. But regardless of how your day is going, always having to be in the best of moods, or at least act like it... right?

1. When a customer wants to return a product, hands you the receipt, where is printed "ALL SALES ARE FINAL" in all caps.

2. Just because you might be having a bad day, and you're in a crappy mood, doesn't make it okay for you to yell at me or be rude to me. I'm a person with feelings, just like you.

3. People refusing to be put on hold when a customer is standing right in front of you. Oh, how I wish I could just hang up on you!

RBF, or resting b*tch face, is a serious condition that many people suffer from worldwide. Suffers are often bombarded with daily questions such as "Are you OK?" and "Why are you so mad?" If you have RBF, you've probably had numerous people tell you to "just smile!"
