For a lot of young women, your twenties is when things start to fall into place. Some girls get married, have kids, some graduate college and start their first jobs. This is also the time that things can seriously fall apart such as your first true heartbreak, or your first real-world rejection.
Who better to have at your side than the girls that have literally been next to you since birth? Your sisters are going to be your best support system throughout this interesting time in your life, and you're lucky for it, and here's why:
1. When your parents are asking you too many questions about your future, you always have each other's back.
"Are you dating?" "Do you have plans after graduation??"
2. If that doesn't work, you can always throw them into the line of fire.
"No dad, I don't have a job yet but, did you hear about your other daughter's speeding ticket?"
3. When you are all home for the holidays, it's AMAZING.
You act like it's been years when it's actually only been a few weeks.
4. Stealing each other's clothes is a greater offense now that you're paying for them with your own money.
Now you have to be extra sneaky.
5. Even your wine nights are more grown up.
You each get your own bottle instead of splitting a bag.
6. Even if you don't have your life together just yet, you have a sister who does and will (most likely) take care of you.
Why have sisters if they don't let you crash on their couch for a few weeks?
7. Name a better group to have a girls night with.
No one can party together like sisters who just finished screaming at each other.
8. They know you better than you know yourself, so they can spot a bad idea from a mile away.
They're the ones that will tell you, NO the third time is not the charm with Chad.
9. No matter how much you fight, you know they will always be there for life's most important moments.
If you can get through sharing a bathroom in high school, you can get through pretty much anything.
10. And those moments can be pretty fun.
No one wants to celebrate your wedding more than the girls who saw you through your middle school gaucho phase.
