Sometimes it is hard to get out of bed, but you do it anyways. Well here are some solid reasons you should take a "Personal Day" with Netflix and your favorite place on campus... your bed.
1. It is not as comfortable outside than it is in your bed. Nothing can cover you completely in warmth and softness like a bed. So don't get out of that today.
2. You will be supported with every choice you make today if you stay in bed. No matter if you choose to watch Orange is the New Black for the 3rd time or House of Cards for the fourth; your bed has your back, head, and butt.
3. People can be mean outside. Your bed is nice and quiet, but people outside can hurt your feelings. It isn't worth the trouble today to try and deal with those mean people.
4. Why bother doing things? Things stink. Your bed isn't things, so your bed doesn't stink.
5. Think about all the other days you can do work. Why does today have to be that day? Why can't the other days have the work?
6. There are other things you can do from your bed. You can do work, read, write, study, and even organize your life from your bed. Maybe you will choose to sleep over doing those things but you acknowledge that they can be done from bed.
7. There are such a thing as Mental Health Days. You may not even know you need one, which is why you should take one. Have you been working really hard for a few weeks? Then you really need one.
Staying in bed isn't always a bad thing when done so in moderation. Please consult your friends, family, and potentially professional help if you spend excessive amounts of days in bed. Be lazy wisely.
