We all know the feeling of guilt you get when you just do not want to go out on a Saturday night, but you're torn with the feeling that you're not a normal teen/young adult. I'm here to give you the most compelling reasons to stay in this weekend, and not feel bad about it.

1. You don't have to wear a bra.

Honestly, I could just stop the list here because this is arguably the best thing about staying in.

2. The food at home is FREE.

Your bank account has been BEGGING you not to spend any more money on food when you literally just went grocery shopping. Listen to it. The bank doesn't play.

3. You don't have to wear pants.

No more button marks on your muffin top! No more cramping after your daily Chick-Fil-A feast! FREEDOM IS RINGING. Let the bell toll, people. Let the bell toll.

4. There are no forced interactions with anyone when you're alone in your bedroom!

Listen Becca, I KNOW your sorority's philanthropy. I don't want to hear about it again. Ever.

5. You can sit still for an obscene amount of time and no one can stop you.

Pro tip: Grab all of your snacks before you lay down, so you can maximize your time of being a vegetable.

6. You don't have to do your hair and makeup—saving you over an hour of time.

Your messy bun is about to shine as bright as your computer screen.

7. You don't have to worry about running into someone you would pay to avoid.

Remember that guy you promised you'd give your phone number to last weekend? Yeah, lets avoid him at all costs.

8. You won't get drunk and regret it.

You might get wine drunk, but just enough to make everything you're watching 10x funnier and to make you sleep like a baby.

9. You don't have any obligation to take care of drunk friends!

You just get to worry about yourself. What a foreign concept!

10. Finally, some intimate, one-on-one time with your dog, a.k.a. your truest friend.

Give that good boy/girl the love that they DESERVE.

11. ALL OF THE NETFLIX MOVIES YOUR HEART DESIRES.

Independent films, mysteries, horror films, foreign films, oh my!!!!

12. There's no need to pretend to be having fun—you actually will be.

The only person you need to worry about is you. You don't have to ask anyone's opinion on what they want to watch or consult anyone on what to have for dinner. Everything is up to you, my friend.

Basically, you don't need to feel guilty for staying in on a Saturday night! You are totally entitled to some healthy alone time and don't owe anybody an explanation of your actions. So, take my advice and experience some of these incredible things for yourself this Saturday night—I promise that you won't regret it.

On the Upper East Side, Blair Waldorf is an icon. She's what every girl aspires to be. She's beautiful, confident, and can handle any obstacle that life throws at her. Sure, she may just be a television character. But for me, she's a role model and theres a lot that can be learned from Queen B.

We Heart It

Over the past decade, television has undergone a very crucial transition: the incorporation of female lead characters. Since it's a known fact that girls actually do run the world (Beyonce said so herself), it's time for the leading ladies of the small screen to get some credit. Without these characters, women would still be sitting in the background of our favorite shows. These women are not only trailblazers for female empowerment, but role models for women worldwide. With that, here are 15 of the smartest, sassiest ladies gracing our screens that remind us that women do, indeed, rule:

If you are like me, you have an interesting personality. Basically, you love to be sassy and snarky, gossip, and act like a total bitch (not really), but deep down, you are actually a very genuinely nice person. Not sure exactly what I would call this type of personality, but if you identify with it, here are some feelings you can undoubtedly relate to.
