Many people have their best friends that they met in pre-school, high school, and even college. The person you can tell everything to--a shoulder to cry on, a smile to laugh with, and a friend to shop with. For me, my mom is that person. I can't tell you how many countless times I've gone to her for advice, done the opposite, and regretted it. I can truly admit my mother knows best. Every day I find another reason to be thankful for her.
1. I never go hungry.
Weather it's having her write down a step by step procedure on how to make chicken noodle soup or coming home to an amazing dinner on the table, I never have to worry about going hungry.
2. She's basically a laundromat.
Every time I can't find my favorite pair of leggings or that sweater I planned on wearing, all I have to do is ask my mom if she's seen it and every single time she replies, "I just folded it." I'm in college, and my mom still does my laundry without hesitation or without asking.
3. That animal I promised I'd take care of...
"Can i PLEASE PLEASE get this cat/dog/bird/hamster/every animal on earth? I promise I'll take care of it myself!!" Yet to this day, she is still feeding the cat every day.
4. I know she'll always be there.
No matter how many fights we get into, how many times I tell her I don't need her, or how many times I think I can live without her, I can't. She's the best friend that won't steal your boy friend, won't pressure you into things you don't want to do, and will always be there no matter what. She's the best best friend.
