1) By moving in early before classes start, you will be able to organizeyou apartment/dorm which helps people have a clear mindset when their space is spotless and organized.
2) Once you have your class schedule put together you can walk around campus and locate where your classes are and how long the walking or bike ride distance is, so you know what time you should leave for a class to be right on schedule.
3) Freshmen, take advantage of the fun activities your college sets up before classes start so you can meet people, it may seem uncomfortable at first but then you will have some familiar faces on campus, helping to ease the stress of moving into a whole new world.
4) Before classes start Residence Hall Assistants typically schedule some ice breaking activities and I highly suggest you go to these gatherings because then you can make friends with the other students on the same floor as you, as well becoming friendly with your RA!
All in all take advantage of all activites happening on campus before school starts when blood pressure is low and you're free of stress to make friends.
