As human beings, we love the idea of being different. For me, I love that we can have our own personal touch on our vehicles. Each having our own sense of style we have the ability to create whatever we want when we want.

With an assortment to choose from: new, old, brightly colored, simply colored, luxurious or practical for the family, the ability to make a vehicle our own is limitless.

Being two or four doored, Jeeps come in various shapes and sizes.

You have the typical Jeep Rubicon, Wrangler and then you also have your Jeep Grand Cherokee, Renegade, and Patriot.

Each of these gives you a different twist of the Jeep and can accommodate all your desirable needs. Not only are jeeps versatile, but they are capable of climbing mountains, back roading, and driving through the city.

Every moment in a Jeep is a moment you will cherish forever.

Out of all the vehicles to choose from, I found myself on my third car before settling into a Jeep Rubicon and since, I was determined I would never go back to any other car.

Inside of the Rubicon, I immediately had a confident boost. It was a vehicle that was adaptable to who I wanted it to be. I had the choice to keep it simple and stock or to dress it up a bit.

Jeeps are one of a kind having the ability to make it your own.

They are just like logos getting to build whatever you want from nothing. There are countless accessories starting with bumpers, light bars, KC lights, winches, lift or level kits, new tires, etc. Each of these things can be designed for your jeep and specific unique taste. My favorite thing about having a jeep though is having it in the summer. You get to have your hair down, arms in the air, sunglasses on and the option to take the doors and top off.

Complete freedom for the summertime madness.

The community of Jeep owners is what completes the package of the Jeep and seals the deal. Whether you are at a gas station, red light, parking lot, or even at home, any time a jeep passes you, they throw up the signature wave. The one finger wave, two finger wave, four finger wave, or solute. Each symbolizing the love and pride that comes with the ownership of the jeep.

When the time comes and someone needs help, the Jeep clan is to the rescue. During severe weather conditions, Jeep owners help those who are stranded in slick conditions teaming up, and having each others’ back during a time of need forming a bond that should never be broken.

It is something so special and so unique. If you are looking for a new vehicle, Jeeps are worth the test drive. Remember that they are customizable, practical and perfect for any age.

As college students, we are all familiar with the horror show that is course registration week. Whether you are an incoming freshman or selecting classes for your last semester, I am certain that you can relate to how traumatic this can be.

1. When course schedules are released and you have a conflict between two required classes.

Raising the minimum wage to a livable wage would not only benefit workers and their families, it would also have positive impacts on the economy and society. Studies have shown that by increasing the minimum wage, poverty and inequality can be reduced by enabling workers to meet their basic needs and reducing income disparities.

I come from a low-income family. A family, like many others in the United States, which has lived paycheck to paycheck. My family and other families in my community have been trying to make ends meet by living on the minimum wage. We are proof that it doesn't work.

April Ludgate

Every college student knows and understands the struggle of forcing themselves to continue to care about school. Between the piles of homework, the hours of studying and the painfully long lectures, the desire to dropout is something that is constantly weighing on each and every one of us, but the glimmer of hope at the end of the tunnel helps to keep us motivated. While we are somehow managing to stay enrolled and (semi) alert, that does not mean that our inner-demons aren't telling us otherwise, and who is better to explain inner-demons than the beloved April Ludgate herself? Because of her dark-spirit and lack of filter, April has successfully been able to describe the emotional roller-coaster that is college on at least 13 different occasions and here they are.
