5 Reasons We All Love "American Horror Story"
Wikipedia

"American Horror Story" has collected a large fandom since its debut in 2011. Many praise the show for its success in pushing the limits of every day TV, some for the concept in itself and others for the pure gore and horror that is packed into every episode. No matter who you are, "American Horror Story" has something to capture your attention and inevitably your heart. These are the reasons I stayed up until 5 a.m. for a week and a half to see all five seasons.

1. Diversity of Seasons

Creating a stimulating and entertaining concept is hard in itself. However, "American Horror Story" takes it to another level by having a fresh idea every season. Whether it's a murder house, a corrupt asylum, a failing witch coven, a freak show, or a bloody hotel, the viewer is always enticed.

2. Plot Lines

These concepts are then twisted into complex plot lines that have ups and downs and lefts and rights and directions you didn't even know were possible. Plot twists that will have you shocked for a week and not sure what to do with your life.

3. Character Development

I never thought I would fall in love with a serial killer and rapist, but the characters are so well-developed in this series you can't help but love them in all their faults. You also learn to hate other characters for their foul soul even if they maintain a pristine appearance. This show truly makes you root for the weirdos and realize the pretty and powerful might not be so perfect.

4. Costumes and Setting

Spanning through all time periods and locations, the crew never ceases to create an environment that feels real (no matter how insane the actual concept is). From the detailed eras of the house to the filthy conditions of the asylum to the darkness of the coven and the freaks of the freak show, they scenes are so delicately put together one cannot help but feel the realness of the horror.

5. Acting

Every actor in this series is extremely talented. You see every single emotion these characters go through. It's even more impressive to think that some of these actors portray a different character each season with precision.

I'm sure, like me, many of you received lots of gift cards over the holidays. After working retail seasonally, here are a few tips that I learned in order to make the employees at your favorite store just a little happier and not want to charge you extra on your purchase for being awful. Here are some times when you should be nicer to retail workers than you actually are!

5 Untold Struggles Of The Short Friend

I'm the Short Friend. I've been the Short Friend since about the seventh grade. I'm the one who stands in the front of the photos, gets made fun of for their height, and still shops in the kids department.

This article is not for the Almost Short Friends, i.e. the 5'3" and 5'4" Friends. No no, this is for the Actually Short Friends, i.e. the Barely Scraping 5'1" and shorter Short Friends.

11 Things All Call Center Workers Can Empathize With Better Than Anyone

This semester I started my journey as a member of my University's Alumni Outreach Team. This means a lot of things, but primarily it means that I get to make phone calls to parents and alumni two nights a week to update contact information, collect things like business cards and volunteer hours, and even ask for money.
