Fall is finally here and I can practically smell the pumpkin spice. As summer says its final goodbyes, we are all mourning the end of warmer days in the same way, daydreaming about Fall festivities. Check out these ten things everybody is looking forward to this season!

1. Going to the pumpkin patch.

One of Autumn's most sacred traditions, going to the pumpkin patch is something we're all looking forward to this year. Pumpkins, cider, and hay rides all in one place, what more could you ask for?

2. Halloween candy.

Halloween candy is one of the best parts of the season. And don't act like you don't like candy corn, you're not fooling anybody.

3. Fall flavors.

Yes, pumpkin spice lattes are back, but they're not the only thing we're excited for. Now we can all sip our warm drinks in peace without breaking a sweat in the summer heat.

4. Corn mazes.

There's no better place to get lost than in a corn maze. This season we're all looking forward to taking a break and getting lost in a corn maze rather than lost in our studies.

5. Leaves. Leaves. Leaves.

The different colored leaves are a much needed change after a season of sunny skies and green leaves. Not to mention the leave piles we're all just waiting to jump in!

6. Sweater weather.

The shift from swimsuit season to sweater weather is one of the most anticipated times of the year. Put away those bikinis and bring out the sweaters because Fall is finally here.

7. Baking some fall treats.

Sure, we can bake any time of the year we want, but what's better than baking on a chilly fall day?

8. Bonfires.

Forget sitting inside trying to escape the heat, it's time to start a fire and roast some marshmallows. Don't forget to bring one of those sweaters, though.

9. Haunted Houses.

As somebody who despises horror movies, I can personally say I am not looking forward to haunted houses and other haunted mazes, but these remain some of the most favored parts of Fall.

10. Halloween!

How could anybody forget? The best part of Autumn, Halloween! It's never too early to start working on your costume so get to brainstorming!

As college students, we are all familiar with the horror show that is course registration week. Whether you are an incoming freshman or selecting classes for your last semester, I am certain that you can relate to how traumatic this can be.

1. When course schedules are released and you have a conflict between two required classes.

Bonus points if it is more than two.

Raising the minimum wage to a livable wage would not only benefit workers and their families, it would also have positive impacts on the economy and society. Studies have shown that by increasing the minimum wage, poverty and inequality can be reduced by enabling workers to meet their basic needs and reducing income disparities.

I come from a low-income family. A family, like many others in the United States, which has lived paycheck to paycheck. My family and other families in my community have been trying to make ends meet by living on the minimum wage. We are proof that it doesn't work.

As an English Major in college, I have a lot of writing and especially creative writing pieces that I work on throughout the semester and sometimes, I'll find it hard to get the motivation to type a few pages and the thought process that goes behind it. These are eleven thoughts that I have as a writer while writing my stories.

April Ludgate

Every college student knows and understands the struggle of forcing themselves to continue to care about school. Between the piles of homework, the hours of studying and the painfully long lectures, the desire to dropout is something that is constantly weighing on each and every one of us, but the glimmer of hope at the end of the tunnel helps to keep us motivated. While we are somehow managing to stay enrolled and (semi) alert, that does not mean that our inner-demons aren't telling us otherwise, and who is better to explain inner-demons than the beloved April Ludgate herself? Because of her dark-spirit and lack of filter, April has successfully been able to describe the emotional roller-coaster that is college on at least 13 different occasions and here they are.
